Hi everybody,

I have a question about the forum. I can designate the forum to one of the three default groups. If I create a new group, I cannot give exclusive access of a forum to this group. Is this correct and if so, is there a workaround? Thanks in advance.

Cheers, Jan

Hi there,

I received an answer from another site. I thought it would be usefull if I put it back here as well. Somebody gave me a workaround, by avoiding registering the Admin group users. Click on answer for the solution!

Thanks, Jan

Hi everyone,

IE 6 blocks the cookies from the I-stats module, messing up my stats (a lot of unique visitors). The Privacy Report from IE6 says it explicitely blocks the I-stats module. Has anyone got a fix?

Hi everybody,

Can I use the newsmodule twice, both at the same time. Both versions are in the main menu. Only there name changes. One for example is called news, the other is called 'special news'. This way I can give normal users rights to the news, but only members of a special group access to specials news.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Herko for your reply. I did just that, but the thing is that people keep seeing the 'post news' button. They can still post it, although it won't publish (admin has to publish). There should be no reference at all to posting news. Is that possible? Thanks.

Hello,

I have a group of authorized editors that post news, I don't want anyone with a registration just posting news.
Can anyone tell me please how I can prevent registred users from posting news. Thanks in advance!

Jan
