new member can't register.

After I changed to XOOPS new version, nobody can register.
You can fill the form but XOOPS doesn't send the e-mail confirmation.

my send mail is in: /usr/sbin/sendmail
i put this on the preference/mail and use the sendmail method but nothing happens.

What can I do? is there a solution?

I tries to login but I got this error:

phpmychat with xoops?

is there a module that use phpmychat or is there a way to use phpmychar with XOOPS using the register user from xoops? It will be nice if it was possible to have a block in XOOPS that shows how many people are using the chat.

How to change the register mode?

I search in this forum but I couldn't find how can I change the registration form.
Unfortunately I don't know how to use php code.
Is there a module that allow us to do some changes in the register mode?
I would like that a new user was forced to fill all textareas, if not a error message would appear.
The problem is: I know where I have to do the modification, but I can't understand all that php code.

Somebody can help me?

I tried to find a thread with this information but I couldn't.
Can anyone tell me in which .php file I have to change the date format?

I want day/month/year
and not year/month/day

The only thing is that in this new webhost I only uploaded the sql data base and the others modules that don't come with xoops.
I did a fresh install, that mean all the .php files and XOOPS modules are new!

I can't understand why this happened, but I'll try this.

No, I never used a hack. I don't know what happened. One day it was working fine, the next day I had this problem!

Somebody know how can I correct this? Can I replace the code with a new one?

newBB error!

When I post something in the newBB forum, the page doesn't reload automaticaly. I got a blank page and I have to use the IE back button.

I turned on the php debug mode and I got this error:

I got this error when I used the XOOPS 2.0.3 in my old webhost and now I continue to get this problem using XOOPS new version in a new webhost.

What is it?

The problem was the name I put in the mainfile.php
It has a mistake.

I'll teste the rest now to see if all is ok!

The line 34 from the Fatal error: Unable to connect to database in /home/airsoftb/public_html/html/class/database/databasefactory.php on line 34

is:

trigger_error("Unable to connect to database", E_USER_ERROR);
