I just ran a test on this assumption (about unwanted spaces slowing a site down). Turns out that this assumptions seems to be untrue for my style.css anyway.

The results of my tests are posted here:

I find it curious...

What is the purpose of your site? It was not clear to me in the 30 seconds you get to sell me on staying.

You need to make the reason for your site HUGELY obvious otherwise people will just leave....

Check your mainfile.php

The address is probably wrong in there....

You should use table-less wireframe/ liquid css for your themes. If you want to download one with a tutorial on how to use it go to:

http://helpxoops.info/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=11

Download the HelpXOOPS theme.

And if you want a specific template set to work with go here:http://helpxoops.info/modules/wfdownloads/viewcat.php?cid=6

Hello all,

I am seeking a list of XOOPS modules that are AJAX enabled. I am creating an AJAX enabled theme onhttp://helpxoops.info and am looking for modules to test the theme on/ with.

We have aChat already... any ideas of other modules I might use??

If you are interested in working on this project, too, simply register & signup (let me know) athttp://helpxoops.info

Whatever we discover we'll publish to the greater XOOPS community.

Hi all,

For those who'd like to see (and help further develop?) Ajax based themes, we have a small project started onhttp://helpxoops.info.

This effort is based upon Damasters materials (actually it is his materials without modification, right now).

A great demo site to view this in action is:http://demo.xoopserver.com/

Any takers???? Stop by and register to help at:http://helpxoops.info

Hi dwhitten,

There are other options as well to consider. We (no I'm not royal) have installed a slightly hacked version of newbbex (an excellent and very light) forum onhttp://helpxoops.info.

I converted our old forum (cbb 3.08) using open office calc (export of old system... input to new). I plan on placing a document on How-to do that on thehttp://helpxoops.info site in the next few days.

Bon chance!

No... you just use Flash to create your moving banner and then load it into the banner area of XOOPS.
