Ok, thanks for the feedback, lets not call them bugs, lets call them anomalies/limitations and I will try to do a workaround using artigas's advice...

Thanks for the reply,

If I want to set up a multiple choice question where only one answer can be selected, how would I do it so that all options are blank in the beginning - so as not to lead the respondent?

Bugs in Survey Module

Hi,

have just installed the survey module and came across a few bugs that would be good to try to resolve. In order of importance, they are:-

1) When adding a checkbox to the survey, there are no options to allow single or multi select. I could do single select using radio buttons, but then a radio button is always highlighted initially by default - very leading for multiple choice questions...)

2) There is no "required" field for checkbox questions

3) when you enter a question into the survey by hitting the "submit" button, it does not take you back to the survey screen, but rather stays on the question you just submitted. (mainly cosmetic)

I am running version 0.6 beta on PHP5

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare bmsurvey_init() in /opt/lampp/htdocs/itportal/modules/bmsurvey/conf.php on line 23

PHP 4 is fine.(but my production system is 5....

I also keep getting the error
PHP debug shows up this.

Quote:
Notice [PHP]: Constant _FORM_MODIF already defined in file modules/formulize/language/english/main.php line 62
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: id_form in file modules/formulize/security.php line 73
Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: id_form in file modules/formulize/security.php line 85

Could this be a PHP5 thing??

Changing the name of the form doesn't help.
I cannot get into any forms at all.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the mode from scratch with the same result.

I Just copied a new userinfo.php and user user.php file across from a working version of XOOPS - no joy.
I also copied a new mainfile.php across which I had to edit in Notepad and then checked the end of the file for blankspaces with Dreamweaver - no joy.
Have cleared templates_c at each stage.
I have tried deactivating all my installed modules, but have had no joy.

Short of reinstalling XOOPS from scratch, I am at a loss of what to do next.

Just reinstalled the membership module and that had no effect on this problem.

Help...... website is http://www.proutlog.org

<<edit>> seems to have put my last post in twice for some reason - apologies for verbosity. Afterthought:- Is there anyway to reinstall the profile module?
