and, if turning on mysql/blocks debug, it shows:

SELECT lid, cid, title, date, hits, votes, rating, ost_year FROM x_myReviews_downloads WHERE status>0 ORDER BY ost_year DESC, lid DESC LIMIT 0, 10
Error number: 1146
Error message: Table 'filmumuzika_lv.x_myReviews_downloads' doesn't exist

didn't get it, because, filmumuzika_lv is the name of database and x_myReviews_downloads is the name of the table. This table of current database exists.

Hi, guys!

Can't seem to find the cause. I read the blank page FAQ, but didn't find any solution to this, because there were given causes to the whole system no to modules. In the beginning i'd had a blank page on the start page too, but i solved this by giving r/w permissions to the required folders.

Now on the start page, where the block from the myReviews is supposed to be, block is missing and the myReviews give me a blank page.

Please, give me some tips what to do, what to search for. Globals ar on.

ok, but i'm not so interested in banning as in IP address log. So, can i make table with attributes - ID, IP, username, time. And every time someone enters my site, the data will be written to this table. How can i do that?

same problem is bugging me..
but hey, users, that access site are being stored in db (ip, time, session details), so.. there is a possibility to store this information in another table, but without deletion like un "xoops_users" table! Am i wrong? Isn't that too hard? i think not.

YES!! FINALLY!! i found it! there's a special module called myblockadmin to manage those things, u should all try it, with this you can clone a block - cloning is a little messy, but it's worth it!! If someone has problem with block cloning - send me PM.

Here is a link about myblockadmin: xoops forum about myblockadmin

hope, not!
I want the same thing - to clone the block. One is for main page, another - for news page, with same content but different style and so on..

If i don't find a solution, the only thing i could do is to use some other less usefull news block, rebuilt it and use it... But i want to find the better way..
