weblog is a very nice XOOPS module for mutiple member blogs.
I use it on a few of my sites. I prefer it over popnupblog.
I'm not sure which version I am using though because I downloaded it last year I think?

I don't think they function like a mall though.
I bet members are not allowed to create products and sell them in the store. Most of the online store scripts are just that, and only the admin can add products and accept payment. A mall is diferent in that it allows multiple members to create and sell products. I guess I would really like to see a Paypal Mall module that accepts payment through member's individual Paypal email accounts.

I know it would be a pain in the butt to code, but isn't that what this forum is for ... hoping, and dreaming? ..haha

AS far as the current online store modules that are available for xoops, wich one would you recommend if any?

I have tried an oscomerce demo before, and I don't like their system. I would rather see a cubecart module created for XOOPS if I had a choice of simple online stores.

Paypal Shop/Mall?

Why not create a Paypal Shop/Mall module that will allow members to post their own products that they have for sale and enter their personal Paypal email address's to recieve payment?

That would be mighty cool!

net2ftp problem

I edited the settings in the settings.inc.php, and the settings_authorizations.inc.php files and the module is working, but I am getting this error message when I login:

"The directory "/uploads" does not exist or could not be selected, so the root directory / is shown instead"

Anybody know what I might have entered wrong in the settings_authorizations.inc.php file?

To create /install one XOOPS site with one database, but yet have as many clone sites as you like where the modules have unique content, but are still part of the main site's database .. so members will only need to register one account to have access to every clone site you create on the main installation.

Take a look at this website for a branching example:

Their website will give you a better idea of what I am talking about.
Use the dropdown menu on the left side of their website to see branching examples.
