I can't seem to find the upgrades for Xoops. I need to upgrade from 2.0.13 to 2.0.15. Anyone know where they went to?

Well, I have my own server that I host my sites on. I thought of that and made sure I had set it to unlimited emails, which it is.

So, any other ideas? I've used this feature many times before, but had not tried it again when I upgraded to 2.0.15.

Thanks!

I am having issues with emailing the users of my website. I usethe "Email Users" in the System Admin. I have about 1100 registered users.

I can no longer email all my users. It will email the first 100 and then act like it has been completed. The System Admin no longer lets me click next to email the next 100 users at a time.

Any ideas? When I relaunched my site, I had to copy all the user email out of mySQL and send them out through my ISP email. Not a good thing to do!

Thanks in advance for any help!

Tonight I tried to install the latest GoogleMaps and AChat. After I uploaded them to the server, I went to install them in Administration and noticed that neither module showed up to be installed. And two modules that I had uninstalled and removed from the server still showed up in the Admin.

So, I had two other modules that I wanted to uninstalled, and I deactivated them and then uninstalled them. They are now in the "to be installed" area in system admin. I then removed them from the server. However, the system admin page is not updating and allowin them to be completly removed. Also, I can no longer install anything through system admin.

Anyone have any problems like this? I am not a novice XOOPS user, so I know that I activated and deactivated them properly. I am using XOOPS 2.0.15.

The last module I installed without a problem was XMAIL. However, I didn't like it so I deactivated it and removed it from the server. Could this be the culprit?

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

I think this is one of the known bugs in CBB. You can check out this link for any bug reports and/or to report a bug.

Well, apparently clearing out the sessions helped tremendously with my posting problem. I will continue to monitor it and see if the error crops up again.

Now on to discover why I can't send all my users an email through the admin.

Thanks for everyone's help!!

Thanks, Bender. In order to help trouble shoot this issue, I'll try your suggestion first and monitor the progress. Then I'll continue on from there.

Possible Issue with Version 2.0.15

Hey, everyone. I wanted to start a thread on this problem because the more I worked on my site today, the more I am convinced that this problem is a problem with the recent XOOPS version.

Last week, I decided to do a completely new install on a site that I had taken up to Version 2.2 and then downgraded to 2.0.14. For some reason, the downgrade did not work real well on my site. I know that there were some differences between the user files in 2.2 and 2.0.14.

However, I was able to get my user files reinstalled, my avatars, and my smilies! And thanks to Christian who provided mySQL code, I was able to zero out everyone's post count and then I manually went into each user (all 1100 of them) and selected their user rank because nothing I did would make that work.

Then I sent them all out an email last night (email function in system didn't work properly - that's for another post), and the site has been hopping today.

Since I had so much traffic today, I kept a close eye on the site and responded to every issue that came up.

The one that I had the most problems with, even for myself, was this error message:

Invalid submission. You could have exceeded session time. Please re-submit or make a backup of your post and login to resubmit if necessary.

Mostly, it happened in the forums (I'm using CBB 3.5, I believe). But then it started happening in Hervet's userpage and anywhere that I went to post something.

I wonder, and I'm asking, if this error message has anything to do with session expiration. I went every where I know to go to zero out any timing functions on the system and modules. I'm stuck!

Please, if anyone has any input or advice, I would greatly appreciate it! Looking forward to your posts.
