Is there an easy way to display the current username within a theme?

I want to display either the name or "Visitor" depending on whether the user is known or not.

Can anyone help?

When you update a template in a module you need to update the module so that it re-imports the changed template from the modules folder.

Xoops does not read the templates from this folder once it has been installed. On the modules page in admin, the first icon in the far right-hand column is update.

If you are then working from your own template set you will need to either re-generate the templates for the module or simply update the module in that template set.

Hope the helps,

RE: MENU NAVIGATION

I've been playing with brothercake.com's ultimate drop down. It's a JavaScript menu, but I've recently found it can read it's config from an XML file.

I was thinking of looking in to a MENU module that would manage the XML file thus making navigation part of the admin features.

It would be great also, if you could swap out the standard menu's for an alternative like brothercake.com.

My only problem is having the time to develop the module and learn PHP at the same time (as well as working...)

Hi,

I've been trying to use the group restriction capability of wfSection. The situation was:

If I didn't give the Anonymous Group access to the module then a login would be forced before any section/article could be read.

However now I've done this, anonymous users can see every wfSection section even though I have excluded them from the list of groups.

Has anybody got this to work and if so what am I doing wrong?

Cheers,

GadgetMn
