I checked, and on my side everything is fine. My host is up and running, and I have no problems accessing any of my sites.

I just wanted to provide you with an example. Sorry for the troubles! Hope it will work later for you. Though I would like to know, who else cant access my sites

PM me about your experiences, as this would interest me. Maybe you can provide me with some tips I haven't thought off/found yet

Enjoy and Have Fun, Regards

JasonMR

PS: If you are interested (and your connection will establish), this is the original image used to create the icon

I really don't like to make suggestion regarding non-OSS apps, but they do offer a free version ()! Check out AWicon. I had the same troubles as you guys, and found my icons improved (become more vibrant), using this tools.

The way I use it is, I open up regular images, resize them, and then use AWicons screen-area-shot feature. Then I cut out the pieces I don't like.

Take a look at my Privat Homepage and it's icon. What do you think?

When I want to edit/add/delete any type/language/category, I get the same message:
Quote:

Unknown column 'PHPSESSID' in 'field list'

PHP debug tells me
Quote:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: id in file modules/xfsnippet/admin/main.php line 35

Can anyone help? Couldn't find anthing in the forums. No one else seems to have encountered this problem!

Update: Sorry for at first providing a false module name in the subject line; I have corrected my mistake!

Maybe the ability to create your own online affiliate book shop, that might be dedicated to a certain topic, or even try to push a certain set of books.

You also want a special review block, that allows XOOPS Admin to combine existing online reviews, with reviews from XOOPS site users, combined with a rating system.

And for the future you might want to keep in mind the option, allowing admins to change the used web service (e.g. switch from amazon backend to b&n).

Further, offer the admin the option, to assign users rights to books individually (as you are offered in XOOPS Gallery).

Just my ideas.

Great project! All the best for its succeeding!

If your statements where true, you would see this in the template manager:

Quote:

[Download]
[Clone]
[Delete]

I stand by statement: formulate your problem more accuratly.

Now you have done so, now I am able to answer you:
No, there should be a delete option (you condescending bastard - who probably didn't even know how to delete it by hand, otherwise it would haven't stated, me not knowing anything, while using exactly methods I described two postings above; not able to read the minds of idiots, fair enough!).

I take offence, because while I try my best to help, provided the provided information. You have nothing better to do, then insult me (entonces, una linea arriba). State your problem accuratly, and you will most likely recieve help. Be insulting, and you can wait for help until you turn green!

I don't believe you have an option for who might post links.

You said you inserted the code in your (previously) index.html file, but did you also insert those code snippets you provided in the other HTML files you are linking to?

You seem to be willing to test and try, and collect as much knowledge on your way as possible. I love that kind of attitude

Here's an idea. If you google for free hosting MySQL php, you get thishttp://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=free+mysql+php+hosting&btnG=Search
.

Goto one of those sites and sign up. Then try it in your sandbox, what you want to do on your life system.

Besides, this might eradicate your whole need of installing a second XOOPS install, but try it anyhow. It will be worth the experience.

I can't see any issues, as you only want to install a test site parallel. Search the forums for more answers, you are not the first to post this question.

What you need to do though, when installing your test system, is to ensure that the second XOOPS installation uses a different prefix for the database tables, that is all! You can set this during installation time (I believe it is the second page during install proecedure).

Hope this helps.

No offence meant but, if you
would state your problem more accuratly, you would most likely recieve a more accurate answer.

The answer given, was the most appropriate, taking your form of problem statement into consideration.

After your reply, one has to take into consideration, that with what you label as template set, you are actually refering to a subset of the template set, which would be a template set of a specific module. Am I correct?

If so, the question would be, why do you want to do this, without risking further problems? As the removal of module templates should be taken care of during an uninstallation process. If this hasn't happened, you will need to remove them by hand (which your actuall question might be).

In the DB of your XOOPS site, there is are 3 tables that are related with templates:
_tplfile
this table lists the id of every single template
_tplset
this table lists the templet set installed; usually only one entry: default; (-> you might have more, if you installed a theme that came with a template set)
_tplsource
this is where the actuall content of a template can be found; refer to the _tplfile table to know which template belongs to which module

Now I'm am proud of not have been a dickhead, can you say the same about yourself?

Update
Thank you Dave_L
