In a former life, waaaay back when, in a land long ago, I lead the doc team for a little while and we came up with a draft outline/skeleton for Xoopydocs. It should still be floating around somewhere.

Maybe herko has it?

Try editing modules/newbb/newbb.css I think this is what you want to edit.

.newbb_link {

border0px;

padding2px;

text-decorationnone;

colorwhite         /* Normal Color of the Links */

!important;

font-weightbold;

width100%; /* IE */

text-alignleft;

This works I just changed it on my site.

Hey, thanks a bunch. I didn't realize newbb2 had its own CSS file.

Your upload got partially corrupted. You will have to re-upload. Sometimes I upload 1 or 2 directories at a time to make sure I get a good transfer.

I have the same issue. The block gets reset to show (blank) comments which winds up = infinity. Then if you try to load my homepage it will take 10 minutes as a few thousand comments load.

Sometimes I have to retype "10" into the block admin section and hit submit 2,3 or more times again until it "sticks".

Can someone tell me where the colors/settings are derived from for the popups when you hover over "rate this thread", etc. in newbb2? I looked in the CSS file for my theme, but nothing lept out. Mine are white on white (unreadable).

Thank you.

there is no visible block in protector module at all.
you dont see anything but be sure uncheck XOOPS Protector Module Access rights for registered user and check the block is visible for anon and registered users

OK, thank you. Why remove "module access" for registered users? If you do that, then they can not "see" the "invisible block", correct? and the code won't execute for them?

Right now I have access rights and block rights enabled for registered + anonymous, and module admin rights added for webmasters/admins. This is incorrect? Only webmasters should have access rights as well as admin rights?

After seeing NonHerko post as Herko I installed the Protector module on my site.

The readme is sort of vague. After I activate the block, should I be able to see it as webmaster? It is checked off as "visible" but no block is showing.

Thank you.

I just can't seem to find the feature where to state that non-members (people who are not registered nor logged in) are denied to post or reply to a new topic. (And I don't mean the option where registered users can or cannot post anonymously, this is already turned off...) Can anyone help me out here?

In newbb admin click on "forums" tab at the top and then click the edit icon next to any forum.

Go to the FAQ. There is an entire section of steps if you get a blank page.
