How do I put a banner in the middle of the header. (and where do I find the header???? or even change a banner to a different gif.

Yes I realise all this but still the frustration remains lol.
What I want to be able to do is change simple links (or remove, add) which appear in every theme differently and like I said after using the "activate banners" I cannot get rid of that image (empty) on frontpage.
And to be honest I am still confused with blocks modules templates themes cus one time you have to use a block to make something and the other time you need a module to do that.
Well i am using 2.2.1 so I guess no point in going back to the .3 version?
Keep in mind that I don't know PHP (learning), I noticed that there are more people that have trouble making for instance "webstats" work on 2.2.2.
Oh well, I guess I have to spend couple of 100 hours more to learn all this sigh.

This XOOPS is REALLY starting to piss me of.
One module works fine and the other is complete crap depending on what version of XOOPS you're using.
For every little thing you need knowledge of this and that and don't even get me started about removing banners and things.
I disabled banners, everything was ok, now I put them back on and off but it will not go away anymore???
Even something simple as changing links (which is easy in any other ) is hidden away so far I have not found it yet or I'm unable to find any info on that (which also changes with every theme !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
Getting more and more pissed by the minute.
Installed counter, didn't work, found another one seemed to work .... forget it, it doesn't.
I was told this is easy and good software but in my opinion software without GOOD tutorials .... is crap.
I am willing to keep trying but one of these days I'm just gonna throw it away.
The overall XOOPS is nice but all that bullshit inside jeezes.
Any suggestions?
And don't tell me I need to study or whatever, this software is supposed to do things the easy way ....

Maybe with making lists in fotomanager included in XOOPS and then importing them, I'm not sure never used it.

Now I actually downloaded several more modules like chess,calendar,gallery, uploaded them to html/modules
and my moduleadministration says on all modules file not found but how then does he recognise the files as being modules

I noticed that with changing themes I loose or get more things on the headersection but where in hell do I find the headersection??????
Everybody is always talking about www...../modules/.../ but with me all paths are different from the tutorials.
I installed the counter but it doesn't seem to be working.
and the list goes on and on, I think I got a long way to go before I get what I want onthere.

I have added the module multimenu to the mainmenu (WATCHES)for all necessary links to pictures.
How can I make a new webpage behind a link that I put in the multimenu instead of getting a page with a search and again administration with distorted multimenu it seems to me, I can be wrong.

But I actually wanted some kind of dropmenu in the middle section from where redirecting to pictures. Possible with multimenu? some things are jibberish to me in that tutorial.

One of my problems is that I don't seem to find where I can change the links for the items on top like "FAQ's"

I searched for things like gallery but was not able to find one which uploaded correctly or worked when implemented, preferably with ability to add text with each picture.

Hope anybody can help me, been trying for 1 week now.

I am completely new to PHP, have a little bit of knowledge
about MySQL and some HTML.
I want to use XOOPS but I cannot find many helps, just found one about blocks which is good but nothing else, not even on the XOOPS website due to the hacking of the website.
I cannot even get a simple image uploaded and things like that, I am probably completely misusing the software.
And also I have the latest version but that is without modules?
So I am not going to find any helps on that version I guess.
All this is very confusing for me lol.
