did you change it in styleNN.css also? I think that's the file that firefox uses

Also, I think if you throw in some html in between the div tags, it will override everything else and display how you want it to.

i'm kind of a n00b though, so i might not know what i'm talking about
...

i had a similar problem where the user information like post count and join date were invisible.

you need to make the change in cbb's templates. i think the file you need to change is newbb_thread.html

using .htaccess files has helped me in the past. i've heard that people can "spoof" domain referrals though, so i guess it's not %100 secure. But I think there's always some kind of trick to get around any sort of protection.

i made a category for every person that posts news. then i uploaded their avatar as an image for that category.

you mean that you upload the new image and it doesn't change?

it might help if you clear out the templates_c folder and also clear your browser's cache. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you

I'd love to have a points system. I have a million ideas about how it could work, but i don't really know how to code php.

I can see how it might cause a lot of problems though. Any good use of the point system would have to tie in to certain modules like cbb. and i'm guessing if it affected the group system, it could get complicated and maybe cause security issues.
