Good morning every body !
i m trying to improve my meta tags of my theme.
for this, i need to know some XOOPS variables.
for exemple : when i put : <{$xoops_post_title}>
betwine <title> and </title> it give me the title of newbb post.
now i need to do the same for :
-> the search section : include the search therm betwin <title> and </tilte>

Open directory projet for xoops.
actualy it s working fine, but i need some help to make it "perfect"
what i need is :
- in the theme.html file; include a fonction that change the encoding from iso to utf-08 when you enter to the module .
(for exemple, all the site is ISO, but only the ODP module is UTF-08)
- include in <title> the name of the directory the user is browsing.
any help is welcom.

1 - i would like to know if its possible to upgrade my XOOPS 2.06 with the module newbbpro instaled, to a recent version of XOOPS ?
2 - Does newbbpro change anything on the tables structure of XOOPS ?
3 - will i lost all my post if i upgrade ?

and for persons who had the same problem as i, (about phpsessid) it will be safer for you to use cookies

okéy ! thank you :) well , when i installed newbbpro (the hack of newbb) it changed the structure of tables ...
are you sure that i can upgrade without any risk ? (end of first question)
for my problem about phpsessid , i ve disabled the "custom sessions" (in french it s : Utiliser une session personnalisée )
and changed the names of my cookies back to : xoops_user
and now when i m surfing on my xoops, i have no more links followed by PHPSESSID ...
is that normal ?

1 - well, i m using newbbpro ... will it be possible to upgarde to 2.7
2 - well ... is there a way to remove PHPSESSID from the links? it s really creating big problems for me :\ just now, 2 users exchanged their links in an irc chanel ...

but i just can't ask all my members to do so !
of corse, you, and I, and other web-addicts could easly understand that the PHPSESSID is not necessary, but what about others ?!

he automaticly get logged as I ! and he have acces to my private messages, my admin panel, and every thing he posts is with my username !
what should i do ?
i can't upgarde to 2.7 because i have many modules (newbbpro xcgal ....) that are not compatible with this lastest version ...
please help
