I found something new.

When I try to upload a new Q/A, then the submit buttons doesn't work. In the back-end a new Q/A is being created but it is empty. In the end it looks like something with the permissions is not working.

When I go to the permissions tab, I can only edit the view permissions. But as far as I remember there should also be other permissions to select, like the submit permissions.

Do you have any clue where the issue might be?

Layout issue on certain pages (Zetagenesis)

Since switching the template to Zetagenesis some pages are not being display correctly on my website. Please find two examples here:

Here an example when the page is displayed, like it should be:

http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartfaq/index.php

Does anybody have a clue why the page get move downwards?

I was finally able to tackle down the issue. It was a Q/A which contained nothing but the title and weight, which caused the white page. After deleting it, smartfaq is working again.

But now, there is something else. When displaying the following site the layout is kind of all over the place:

http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/smartfaq/category.php?categoryid=264

Do you guys have any idea?

I'm using 1.08. After installing 1.11 and dropping the old db's it was working like a charm. After uploading the old tables, I got the blank page again. So apparently ... I have to look for the "error" in the db files.

smartfaq White Page get_class()...

Hi guys

Since moving to Xoops 2.5.6 smartfaq only displays a white page and debug shows me the following error:

Warning: get_class() expects parameter 1 to be object, array given in file /modules/smartfaq/class/faq.php line 550

Furthermore I have 90 Deprecated entries:

'Database::getInstance();' is deprecated since XOOPS 2.5.4, please use 'XoopsDatabaseFactory::getDatabaseConnection();' instead.

Does anybody know what I have to change where to get this module working again?

I would be interested in this feature too. Basically it would also be interesting to see the smilies directly when posting, that one doesn't have click an icon first to then select the smilies.

I think, I told you before that you can keep the links by:

- importing SmartSection into Publisher
- renaming SmartSection to something else
- cloning Publisher into SmartSection

I did it for a customer of mine, and there was no disruption on their website.

You can also do it with Apache mod_rewrite, but I never worked with it...

Xoops 2.5.5 Blocks of new modules don't show up

I'm seeting up a xoops website for a customer and I've just ran into a strange issue. When I install a new module, I don't see it's associated blocks. I only see the blocks from the following modules:

System
Maquee

Installed are the following modules:
- System
- Publisher
- News
- xForms
- Protector
- xLanguage

Does anybody have a clue about this issue?

You're dealing with XOOPS and CBB versions that were never certified or even tested on PHP 5.3

Maybe, but the thing is I will have to move from SmartSection to Publisher and then all the links will change and since, I have a boatload of backlinks referring to all those product reviews, I'm kind of stuck.
