Whenever I make a change in block-administration for the registered users, the change is alo made for anonymous users well and the other way around as well.

I would like to treat these groups differently, as registered users should be able to see "whos online" while anonymous users should not.

Should not all groups in block administration be independent?

The notification via email works only for normal email addresses, but not for emails within the domain like xxx@mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de.

For all emails like xxx@mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de I have set a "catch all" at my domain-provider (which is not my hosting-provider), so that emails send to these addresses are redirected to webmaster@mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de. This only works for sending email via outlook and else, but it does not work for notfications via email out of XOOPS. For these addresses I can find the notification for new postings in the "personal notification box".

Sorry, this sounds funny, but maybe somebody knows what is going wrong.

submit website to searchengine - optimisation possible?

I would like to submit site www.mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de to searchengines.

Now I would like to know if I submit the statical Startpage www.mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de or if I rather submit the dynamical XOOPS system under www.mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de/html?

If the searchengines crawl from starting page they will only find up to 10 html pages. If they crawl form www.mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de/html maybe it might be better?

Also I would like to know about tips for optimization (keywords are already listed) and good engines for submission.

I still have this problem, that email notification is set, but instead of emails notifications are send.

I tried in parallel with newly installed XOOPS, but even there I dont receive email.

Could it be something with the redirect for mails to webmaster@mobilfunk-volksbegehren.de at my domainhost? I dont think so, because I can send email to webmaster from outlook and receiving them at account that is set for in redirect (so this should be allright).

yes, the preference is defined as notification via email, but this email is not send. Instead there is a message in "Notifications".

I have a user in my forum that has Notification options:
- in avatar it is set to Notification per email
- in Forum it is set to (notify about all new threads/postings)

This should assure that all new posts are send to email adress defined in avatar.

Problem:
There is no email, all post end up with a Notification within XOOPS System

Question:
How can I configure that notification is via email?

because I still ... did not find ... what I was looking for:

My requirements:
a) open stylesheet in editor and see all colors in preview window (like in "style studio", but it is only display and no function to click on "class .head" and jump into sourcecode automatically)
b) color wheel with complementary colors (like "color schemer" or "colorimpact")
c) a tool that can do both a) and b) -> "Eierlegende-Wollmilchsau"

My Questions:
1. firefox webdeveloper extension:
-> open style.css and select in menu:
-> Tools -> Webdeveloper -> ????????
-> how do I get Webdeveloper ...
-> to show colors of my stylesheet?
-> I installed colorzilla and html validator -> but how ..
2. Is there any "Eierlegende-Wollmilchsau" (thats a bavarian type of Wolpertinger that does everything like eggs, wool, milk, meat ...)? How about Zend, Dreamweaver ...

I found following tools:

css editor with display of colors:
top style pro 3.10
style studio v3

color composers:
html color composer
colorimpact
amiasoft color pro
rgbpro
color schemer studio

Does anybody know the ultimat css editing and color composing tool (read and display colors from css with composing wizard)?

thanks a lot for this "right on the spot info", now I can find the color value #414141 for "category background".

To find a really fitting color I checked complementary colors in "color studio schemer, but most I would like to visualize all the colors from this css and followed your advice with firefox and webdeveloper. But ... where do I find the menu for displaying the colors in css?

I hope you'll be back with this info, because this would be a great functionality.

greetings asche

all right, that is 2nd or 3rd step for me (tempting idea anyhow), but rightnow I want to make the freshly installed forum readable in order to go online ....

... i need to change just one variable in style.css to lighten up the backround of Categories, Topics and Forum-Topics. But I dont know which one!

I was successful in XOOPS default style.css changing .head { background-color) -> as you can see herehttp://66.195.17.52/~arm/html/modules/newbb/, but I cant find it in "E7 style.css" (e7\style.css).

I have black and unreadable backgrounds here:
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/newbb/
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/newbb/viewforum.php?forum=2
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/user.php?xoops_redirect=%2F%7Evobe%2Fhtml%2Fuser.php
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/news/
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/xoopsheadline/
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/contact/
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/mydownloads/

So if anybody can tell me which variable I have to change to get a light backround for the categories in newbb?
http://66.195.17.52/~vobe/html/modules/newbb/

... then I can hopefully/happily go online with this forum.
