If they are using XOOPS as well it should be doable.

Clone the default setup for the XOOPS site feed and change the link from:

https://xoops.org/backend.php

to your site address:

http://rider.net.nz/backend.php

Initially the feed may not appear but after the update time the feed should filter through.

On my site I changed it to 1hr updates.

There is another thing to try as well.

I had issues when I had thumbnail creation using ImageMagik or GD turned on.

Turning these off made it work.

You could try this.

It just means thumbnails load longer as it has to load the large image as the thumbnail.

My theme is basically a modified version of PHPKaox.

It is supposedly using tables which is why the annoying thing with the formatting. Tables shouldn't cause this display problem.

However, I will try looking through the file you mentioned.

Thanks.

My resolution is the same as yours.

I did use hard returns to fix the problem but this is besides the point.

I don't think it is an issue with XOOPS as such but an issue maybe with the implementation of the DIV tags in the browsers.

Now that I think of it, I have many issues trying to use the DIV tags in normal HTML.

I guess the problem is the way W3C has set the guidelines for using them.

I get the same problems with IE and Mozilla.

Haven't been home yet to try out Safari.

I'm not sure if this is caused by XOOPS' CSS or if it is to do with the News module (or both) but the thumbnails beside the News articles are not displaying correctly.

The images themselves are fine but the box for the article doesn't seem to resize to the image and thus the images appear on the next few lines.

Checkout my site to see what I mean.

This seems to be happening in ALL browsers.

One feature that would make it better would be to have the ability to search via letter e.g. clicking on R would bring up all the listings in that category that start with an R.

It would make finding a particular business easier.

Also searching by Town/City would be nice.
