Re: Block border Driving me MAD please help

Check out the template for your system blocks in your admin->system->templates->"template_name"->system templates. Look at the template and see what the "class" is defined as. It is usually defined as <td class="blah"></td>. This is just an example, but you can get the jist of what im saying by it. This usually helps me figure out what css style I need to be editing. Hope this helps.

Re: Modifying the Mainfile properties from the admin menu...... idea....

I've added a few more things to it, and changed some of the ways that it handled certain criteria. For the latest version, just download it from the same link above.

Modifying the Mainfile properties from the admin menu...... idea....

I have come up with a way that will allow site admins to change the properties of the mainfile.php file without actually having to get into another program to do it. The few files that I have working are available for beta download here. Please read the readme.txt file within the rar for installation instructions.

Feedback is needed on the linux chmod functions of this hack.

Thanks for the input,

Re: Trouble with xoops

The only time that I have ever seen that is when I was using gzip compression for the site and another type of compression setup within my php config....

Re: Where's Statistics?

Hola Peeps!

Just thought I would let you know what is up with the module. Now that V2 is out, and is in full production, I think I will proceede with the versions of the XPPHL. I didn't want to try and migrate the module over until I knew that XOOPS was released. There is one problem that the module has with X2, that I have yet to figure out. It seems to kill the session when you try and log in, which if I remember right, that is easily fixed, but the other problem is how it access' the database to allow you to login to your stats. Anyway, this module works great with 1.3.x but not so great with X2. If anyone would like to help with getting this module up to par with the X2 coding, please feel free to jump aboard. Any help with it would be very much appreciated.

Re: Deleting recalcitrant users

Ive seen some scripts just today that will do exactly what we are talking about. I might try something this coming weekend and see if I can get one of those scripts incorped into the registration part. It might be worth the effort.

Re: Deleting recalcitrant users

I wish there was a way that the registration process would check to see if the email address was valid before they get to the point of sending out the email that never gets to the end user. I mean not like they could activate their account anyway right? But still it is annoying. I get those all the time. It might be something to think about for those of us that are still going to be using the RC3 versions of XOOPS for a while, until mods and stuff for RC4 start appearing. Any suggestions on modifying the registration script to make it so that it checks the email address to see if it is valid? I know that there are probably scripts out there now that will do it, incorporating that script is my problem
