Have you tried uploading and installing the new xoops. Then uploading the e-xoops tables one at a time into your newly created database? i don't know how close related e-xoops and XOOPS but with a bit of editing you should be able to do that ask a couple of the dev's if there will be conflict with the database.

I know am being picky with the word sticky! But I think that this should be changed within the forum to 'pinned' instead.

I dissagree with the word PINNED it sounds yucky!! i like the word STICKY because it sounds like a POST-IT note or a sticky note it stays on top of the rest of the topics.. basically i just like that STICKY NAME BETTER. IF this gets changed in up comming versions of XOOPS ill have to change it to suit my needs.. i change the icons as it is anyways. No offense to you catz we all have our oppinions pinned just sounds weird.

Some Valid points there! Love the sound of the jump buttons these would be very handy in high trafficable sites. keep the ideas comming and convince the devs to put them in .. if all else fails show me how you put them in hehe.

I hope Santa come's early this year for you.

Best Regards

Ive heard from many people that XOOPS 2.0.4 is having issues with various module's . My advice would be stick with 2.0.3 because 2.0.4 is not stable in many ways! There is a XOOPS 2.0.5 on the way even then wait untill you here if there will be problems with that upgrade too.... XOOPS 2.0.3 is very stable and im going back to XOOPS 2.0.3 myself.

This is your internet security causing this problem.

*Zone
*Norton

are just some of them.. below is how to configure your norton so it will accept you posting on the forums and you wont have to turn your security off compleatly.
