Adding to adminactivate.tpl

Is there a way I can add all the member sign up details to the adminactivate.tpl so that the person who receives the new member notification email also gets the member's information? The screen that appears to a member after he completes register.php and he's shown the fields to confirm would be perfect to add to the adminactivate.tpl. Would this be a complicated matter? I've done a few minor hacks successfully for other things concerning the register page. This is the last (I think) thing I need to figure out in this area.

I'm using the extended profiles module, XOOOPs 2.2.4 so there are extra fields we'd need to include. Possible?

Thanks.

Yes. Permissions are set properly. The Admin is considered the same as the Webmasters group and vice versa, correct? Anyway, I just added a new forum to make sure. And... after adding it, I got the same page as described above. Blank with exception to the word "Forums" on the page. Any advice on where to troubleshoot next?

No one is able to help on this? Is there a back way in to edit forums, then? Otherwise, they must be deleted and recreated? Is CBB a better choice?

Hi Biteronboard and Bandit-X,

Well XOOPS passwords are case sensitive, perhaps that is the culprit.

I wish that were the case but it's not. As I said, I checked the Firefox password manager where you can view the passwords and it's all lower case.

changing/resetting your pass is a good idea too.

It's on a demo site and it's the same password as all the other passwords I've put in. It's been a few weeks since Firefox has been filling in the password field for me so I checked to be sure, and yes, same password as all the others. It's a very simple word all lower case - not easy to mess this one up - even for me.

I suppose I could give resetting the password a try but that seems to be addressing the symptom rather than the problem. I guess since no one else here so far has heard of this issue - I'm outta luck!

Thanks anyway.

I also cannot edit a forum. I am using XOOPS 2.2.4, NewBB 2.0.2, PHP 4.4.2, MySQL 5.0.18-standard-log, Apache/1.3.33 (Unix).

With PHP debug enabled I get the following on the manager page (modules/newbb/admin/admin_forum_manager.php?op=mod&forum=1):

Editing Forum:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: xoopsformselect() in /home/server/user/mydomain.com/modules/newbb/class/formselectuser.php on line 34

Notice
: Only variables should be assigned by reference in file modules/smartfaq/xoops_version.php line 320

Would someone please help?

This is strange. I can only login as the admin with Firefox. If I use Netscape or Internet Explorer, I get the incorrect login message - even though the login is correct. I get the incorrect login message with Firefox if I type in the username and password manually but it still lets me in as admin. If the Firefox password manager auto-completes the fields and I hit enter, I have no problem getting in AND no error message. I checked the password manager just to make sure I was remembering correctly and it shows the same password I was using with Netscape and IE. I also tried logging in from my husband's computer but got the same message and could not get in.

I searched the forums but didn't see this problem though I did try some of the remedies from posts with similar problems. I checked my firewall, deleted cookies, etc. Has anyone heard of this? I'm using XOOPS 2.2.4 with Protector, Windows XP, DSL modem connect, Panda Platinum protection (Firewall, antivirus). Does this have something to do with how XOOPS is set up or is there something else in play?

Can anyone help?

It seems I always find my answer after posting! I found I could enable the images option under "blocks". Sorry about the post!

Hello blueteen,

I'm enjoying using your menu but have a question. The Guide refers to images and XOOPS code but when I try to include either, they are not working as I understood they should. So, to make sure I understand...

Can I use an image in a menu that has text links? What I really would like is to use an image instead of the first menu link (in horizontal menu) but an image does not appear no matter what I try.

Thanks in advance.

Hi shank,
You posted at the same time I was trying to delete my initial post. Sorry about that.

I figured out a few things - how to move the search and login blocks. The only one I couldn't figure out was how to move the Membership block (Member stats with who's online from the XM-Memberstats Module) to an place above the normal area for blocks. Can you help with this?

You can put block content into the theme, it is just a matter of how much work you want to do.

The code has been posted before on how to put the user menu in the theme, and the search would be simple also.

What exactly are you asking for?
