Yes, if users seem them then the download has already happened,
but
you can display them as FLASH file or you can put a transparent GIF in front, so that people cant rightclick....save image as...

For the search utility:
My PC can search for files but not for texts within files.
If I just open the source code of a webpage then I dont know which part of the module has entered that part of text.

Thats exactly why I offered to help Ohwada san, look through it and correct "funny sounding stuff".

Well, I am usually rather direct with my questions without too much "garnish" around them.

Hi,
I tried to post in the forum of the creator of webphoto (ohwada) but cant get any answers there.
There is simply no one.
I tried to e-mail Ohwada, but also there no answer.
Does someone know whats going on there?

I would like to make some small changes to webphoto
so that pictures cannot be downloaded
and
I would like to correct some of those many typos, but cant figure out where to change the texts.
one example:
Quote:
* Popup the big photo, wehen click the thumbnail image
* Move to the photo page, wehen click the photo title
It all sounds a bit like pidgin and then those mistakes like "wehen"

I offerend Ohwada san to look through the module and submit mistakes for correction, but on Ohwada san's webpage there is no one to be found.

To tell you frankly:
I am slowly fedup with 3ix.org.

There is now every time a different person involved.

Initially they quickly realized that it was a misconfiguration of the server.

Now they come and ask what exactly the problem is after I have given them the links to see for themselves and after I gave detailed descriptions to them...

slowly 3ix gets 2 thumbs down from me

Yassou Costas,
how can I change the .htaccess so that it allows everything?

After I have finally understood how that XOOPS_TRUST_PATH thing works.

Is it possible to remove userID and passwords from the mainfile.php and put it into a separate PHP file inside the trust path?
The file with the passwords would later be "included" into the mainfile.php

I am helping some people having 3ix.org as host.
One has a 5Gb storage account for 1$ per month
the other one got 30Gb for 3$ per month.

On the 1$ page all installations are a torture, they dont work without calling in to the hosting company

the 3$ page is a breeze, no problems at all.

I think its hoster's policy, coming with the hosting package.

the hoster provides 5GB storage and 10Gb bandwidth for 1$ per month.
I do that for an unemployed lady here in Singapore.
Actually silly, because I have to always write in and ask to allow the installed files.

I also do something for a new company in Indonesia, same provider, but 30Gb storage and unlimited bandwidth... There it works without any problems.

Its actually stupid of the hoster to apply these kind of restrictions because for 1$ per month it creates more work for them.

You know, the funny thing is,
when I install things at binaarta then everything is smooth
when I install the same stuff, same hosting company at 22-ice then in all module directories a file named .htaccess remains.
I think thats the reason why it doesnt work.
I cant even install modules without facing this problem.

FYI - all important SourceForge links are under "Development" Menu on the left side on this Website.
I noticed that already.
Its nice to have it there, but sadly it does not further my efforts to post comments and recommendations on that site because as soon as I use one of those links I am logged out there, and after I have logged in I have to start searching.....where was that???...
and then I am logged out again.
