We believe that the problems with Jquery is just a coincidence ... instead, a problem with the publisher module doesn't seem to be a coincidence.
When I have more data I will post in the related category.

Xoops 2.5.11 , PHP 7.2 , MySql 5.6.44 , xswatch theme.

My co-admin works with a MAC ( MAC OS Hih Sierra 10.13.6) and I had some probs with his account , but at first I was thinking of some of his mistakes (he is not an expert on portals) ...
Yesterday, however, a constant error occurred: loading a change in the text of a publisher article, this was not loaded! It seemed impossible that this would happen because I could do it correctly (Windows 10).

I asked him to make the same changes with a tablet and a smartphone and the changes were made without problems.
Obviously I started thinking that it could be a problem with the O.S. of his MAC ... but for what reason ??? And why in loading situations?

Then I had an intuition and I made an attempt: I disabled the jGrowl redirect and asked him to repeta tests : his MAC resumed normal functionality. Do you have news of MAC problems with JQuery?

OK ...

As I wrote , to read suggested docs , was a good thing.

I saw in both version of bootstrap the data lines for the customization of the "container-maincontainer" zone are identical ... so, probably, switching to the most recent bootstrap version would not have changed anything for me.

But this reading also made me reflect on the detail also the navmenu is contained in the same CSS class ... and what could be in the menu that could create that problem for me? One thing: the logo!

In fact the customization of the logo had led to larger sizes than those of the original Xoops logo ... in particular returning to the width of the logo within the previous measure, the problem has disappeared!
So it was my (unconscious) mistake to create this problem.

Now, the changes to the CSS that I had hypothesized are giving their result and the images are seen full screen even on mobile phones, without any problems!

Thank you everyone for the support.

Ok guys ...
you have to keep in mind that I'm not at your level ... anyway:

- actually in my installation I have the bootswatch v3.3.7 version in bootstrap.min.css

- In the themes list ( updated to v4.3.1.) where I can find the bootstrap.min.css file I don't see xswatch ...

do I have to go different ways?

Ty for suggestion alain

( it will be useful in future for sure ...) but i don't think the problem is there ... or I don't know WHERE use this tool!

In this theme we NEED the container as reference for all modules pages ( I think ) ... only the "padding right" command intefere with ... something !!! But wich ??? Maybe with @media commands? Mah ...

TY anyway

Hi geekwright, can I ask for a little help?

I'm using this theme ( dark version ) in a new creation dedicated to photographers and photography lovers in general ...
One of the main modules is goffy's wggallery, which is doing a great job!

Obviously all the emphasis is on images and we have tried to optimize CSS to get the best performance from smartphones on 4k monitors.
In particular for small phones I have tried to minimize the side spaces so as to give the greatest possible space to the individual responsive images ... but ...
first idea was to reduce the value of padding in ".container maincontainer "!
In fact it would work but ... scrolling the screen to the left, the page moves (as if it were larger than the width of the monitor) and displays a small empty band of some pixels on the right : something really horrendous!
With the preset left and right padding value of 15px, this does not happen!

Too bad because I really like this theme : clean, reliable with all the modules and intuitive (but not very easy for me at least) to be customized.

Some idea ?? (Before I do any worse damage ???)

Hi Mamba,

it is not an error ... but a module status ... I read in Admin Preferences :

Display articles count
Select “Yes” to display the article count within each category in the category summary table. Please note that the module currently only counts articles within each category and does not count within subcategories.

I was wondering if this possibility could soon be implemented ...
