You can try AMS 2.42 RC1. I'm using it to embed the youtube video and its work like a charm (

).

Step:
1) click submit
2) (assume KOIVI enabled), tick "HTML" tickbox (lower right of textarea) to enabled manual HTML code insertion
3) Paste your video embedded code
4) untick "HTML" tickbox... and it DONE :)
5) Submit

I can't duplicate your problem. I try using XOOPS 2.0.17, XOOPS 2.2.5, PHP 4.x, PHP 5.x, Firefox 2.0.0.x, Internet Explorer 6.0.x. All seem working fine.

I believe your problem more to KOIVI itself. Make sure you use latest KOIVI and try a few type of browser. It also may caused by javascript failure/clash. Please try using a few theme. If the problem still persist, please provide me :

Koivi Version
Koivi installation path (relative to your XOOPS)
Apache Version
Xoops Version
PHP version
all phpinfo information
your browser version
AMS edit options that you tick in edit (or just print screen it to me)

and also, if possible, give me the link to your site.

send to my PM and I'll start the investigation.

1) If you are not using KOIVI, you need to put [extend] between your text to separate Body Text and Extended Text. However, for Koivi, Body Text and Extend Text is separated. I don't know why its not separated at the 1st place (for XOOPS default editor. I'm not the original author to comment about it). I plan to standardize it on RC2 or FINAL release.

2) AMS developed with performance in mind. Its designed to have minimal SQL queries and cpu processing. So, its so scalable and can support thousands (maybe millions

) of articles. IT-HQ already do some testing with AMS with 10,000 articles. You can read it here :

Thanks a lot jobrazo. I don't see any report about this bugs on it-hq (original developer), so i missed it. I definitely will fix it in FINAL version.

2 posiibilities:

1) Your file name is not ".php"
2) PHP not setup correctly

What Is AMS

AMS is a highly modified version of the News 1.2 for Xoops, and adds a huge amount of features to give the webmasters a lot more control over their content while still maintaining an easy to understand and use interface.
