Thanks!
I guess I didn't get the right search terms to pick that up.
I also found that removing the blocks that show logged in, top, and new members from the anonymous groups should prevent much of the spidering from search engines.

I would be nice to have an admin option somewhere to control access to member data by group. Maybe in 2.1 . . .

I need to prevent access to the "View Account" page by anonymous users. I don't want search engines to pick up the addresses (and more importantly, email addresses) of my users. How can I protect this information ?

Hi all
Anybody kniow how to format the date in minical and in upcoming events?.

I want to change from year/month/day to day/month/year.

I'm working on making this configurable in the block options, but for now, you would need to edit the blocks/minical.php file and make changes to the PHP code there. It's not an easy adjustment.

Excellent! Care to share your mods with us? I assume you made some block clones with mods. Could be useful to me too now that I think of it.

You bet! I'm cleaning up some more code but hope to release a a 2.3 RC1 real soon now. I'm trying to keep the mods I make in the main Agenda-X tree to avoid people getting into "patch hell".

If you want to try a "preview release" (even I don't want to support this one, but nothing's blown up yet), grab it here.

Feedback and suggestions are welcome.

I don't know if going through the database manually is a good way

You're right, of course, but being a DBA, hacking directly in the DB just feels like the fun thing to do. Perhaps I should be more careful what I recommend.

For anyone considering doing this, it's dangerous and could wreak havoc. But it's still a cool "thought experiment".

I see where you are going dheltzel. The idea seems pretty simple. My question is why?

What does the Multisite bring that running multiple sites in different virtual sites dosen't?

JMass

1) Saving Disk space
2) reduce redundancy
3) just because I can

Actually, the last reason is probably the major one. I hack stuff to understand it better. I understand much more about the disk structures and DB layout for having done this. Anyone who follows my instructions gains alot of that insight as well.

I want to be able to deploy a new XOOPS site easily. I can now "clone" one of my existing sites in about 10 minutes. Was it all worth the learning curve? I don't know, but it was a lot of fun.

I think you will find the image links in the config.inc.php file. The actual files are in the images directory.

The tech support URL is hard coded in agendax_header.inc.php.

First you must "deactivate" them by unchecking the active box on the module admin page. There is a confirmation page for this. After that, there will be a new icon next to the update icon that looks like a diskette. Click that and you can delete the module.

Not the calendar, but you can now include/exclude events by category in the event blocks, giving you multiple event list blocks.

There is no way to do this in the current version. It might not be that hasr to implement yourself, since the code is obviously already there.

I never considered sometihng like that because it seems like it would take up too much space in the center column, and it wouldn't fit in the side columns.
