Hi Trip,

good to hear .

I just wanted to write, that I think it has something to do with the templates_c directory .

Why have there been empty files?

I hope my chestnut tree (which my Avatar shows) will not grow too fast , because it should become a Bonsai.

Hope you will enjoy XOOPS
Robert

Hi Trip,

As we can see your file/directory integrity seems to be ok,
and also the database setting/connection.

XOOPS could/should be run with register_globals off, only a few (third party) modules maybe needs register_globals on.

I tried the link you gave:
http://mydom.com/myxoops/INDEX.PHP
but that didn't work:
Can you give me the correct address?
Maybe you can also upload a small php file with just the phpinfo command in it, and give me the link?
And checker is already there?

Cheers
Robert

Maybe you upload the forum files and try again. (Maybe one is corrupt?).

To test the file/directory integrity you could also use my checker module which is available in the download area.

The line 256 shows the following function call:
$postsArray = ForumPosts::getAllPosts($topic_id, "ASC", $total_posts, 0);

and when I take a look at call.forumposts.php the function looks the following:
function getAllPosts($topic_id, $order="ASC", $perpage=0, $start=0){

nothing special with it, and no reference passing

Remove the <? from the beginning
and the ?> from the end.

Maybe it's file/directory permissions?

Try turning on PHP Debug.

of course I read it that you turned debug on by patching common.php, but I missed this info just a little later.

My brain..... like a DRAM without refresh

I hope you can resolve your problems.
Good luck

Your output shows only notices.
As far as I know this doesn't lead per se to a blank page.

As I just see, you've got the checkit.php running.
It reports a wrong CRC on include/common.php.
This shouldn't be.

The only file which should show a wrong CRC is mainfile.php
