IMG tag problem

Hi all, I need some quick help please.
I know there has been a post about this before but I could not find it, the IMG tag does not work when in capitals in CBB 3, but it will work in lower case. Big problem being, my members use photobucket which uses upper case.

I know that I only have to add a line of code as I have done it before, but I am not sure which file it is in???

NewBB 2.02 to CBB 3.08?

Can it be done, anoyone??? I don't want to try it without knowing incase it seriously messes up the site and loses posts as I am not in the mood, even though I know I can back up. It would be easier to know first.

I cannot get the quote feature to work on my forum, it just comes up with the quote tags at the start and end of the quote paragraph. I have looked for ages and cannot find anything. I am using Newbb2

Secondly, can I upgrade from newbb2 to cbb?

Hi all,

I am a newbie to SSL and am trying to learn everything I can about it, i would like to use a secure URL https:// on my XOOPS site but only on the registration and once a user is logged in, and also the admin area, basically it is because it will be for a community who I know for a fact are very good at hacking/cracking and I do not want to leave the site vulnerable to this. Or is the new XOOPS really so secure they would have no chance?

Please, I am a newbie to site security and would like to learn more about what I can do to stop hackers.

Quote problem

I cant seem to get the quote feature to work.
The quote problem I am having is when I add the quote tags around the text I want to quote and submit the post, it just comes up with the text and the quote features at the start and finish.

I guess it could cause a few problems, I would still like to know if it is easy and how to do it.

BB code problems

I have noticed and now been told by a lot of people that they are annoyed with the BB code tags as they have to be in lower case to work.
for example, when someone gets and image from photobucket, photobucket gives them an image link with the IMG code but in upper case, XOOPS comes up with exactly what is typed and not an image until you change the img tage to lower case.

Why is this and how can I solve it, as it is causing me a lot of problems and costing me a lot of members.

I have had requested by many of my members that I have an option to add an avatar by URL, rather than uploading or using ones on the server. Just like the invision power boards have.

Does anyone know if this would be easy to implement and how?
