In backend.php for 2.2? Are you using that?
$sarray = NewsStory::getAllPublished(10, 0);
I think thats what controls how many it grabs, try changing that 10.

Headline module is for syndicating someone elses' RSS.
If you want to turn your news into rss, just do yoururl.com/backend.php or you can even rename that file to rss.php

You need to ftp into your web space and delete the directory.

Why do you want to delete it? Its needed if your still running XOOPS.
