Much obliged. post.php in /newbb and version.php seem to be the only two affected files, correct?Quote:

If you look at my other 4 bug reports, that info has been posted. Whatever version of newbb comes with 2.0.10RC2.

Would it be possible to just FTP a bunch of avatars to a folder without having to add each one manually through admin? That's terribly time-consuming and tedious.

Thanks

Here's what php debug mode spit out:

Quote:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: newbb_notify_iteminfo() in /home/mednickd/public_html/dowp/modules/newbb/post.php on line 193
Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: nosmiley in file modules/newbb/post.php line 174

ETA on a fix?

I also found a bug in 'modules/newbb/admin/admin_priv_forums.php', line 235. The line should be changed from:
$current_users[] = $row[uid];

to
$current_users[] = $row['uid'];

Hope this helps someone else...

Server: Linux v2.4.29-grsec
Apache: 1.3.33
Modules installed: News, Fourms, Downloads, WebLinks, Contact Us, FAQ, Polls, Newsfeed, Members, and 4 others that I ported over from phpNuke. None of the distribution files have been hacked or modified.
PHP: v4.3.10
MySQL: v4.0.22-standard

This was a clean install with my phpnuke databases transported over by a few scripts that I wrote myself but have verified that all info within them is good. I have not had initial problems logging in, but have had the thing kick me out and force me to log back in until I turned sessions on.

I'll add the firewall question to the front page news requesting info on those that are having problems logging in and staying logged in. Most of my users use IE although I have successfully convinced alot of them to go to Firefox (1.02).

I reckon I should have heeded the "You have been warned!" statement but then I began reading about all the bugs that were in 2.0.9 and figured it was a toss-up. Old bugs or new bugs.

PHP Debug did not provide any additional info on the comment reply error.

*EDIT* A new twist on this. Users can now log-in fine and stay online but get kicked back to User Profile no matter where they try to navigate to.

XOOPS is beginning to disappoint me. Many of my users say that they must login over and over to stay online. I've turned on sessions to try to fix that. Would someone from the XOOPS team mind poking around my site and see if they have any issues?

Dawn of War Planet

Thanks.

Without a single change, it's magically come back. Something weird going on in RC2. Cookies seem to be broken, too, as many of my 20000+ users are complaining that they have to relogin every time they change pages.

One feature that really stinks is when you send a PM, the entire list of users is populated in the select box. Couldn't you just have a text entry box that does error checking instead?

Also, is there a list somewhere of all the XOOPS smartys? I'd like to try and build some custom blocks and modify existing but knowing all available smartys would be very helpful. For example, is there a smarty that shows me how many registered users are on my site, a smarty for how many hits my site has received?

Thanks!

My `username` is not 'UID 1', it's DevlshOne and it's worked all this time until now. My `uid` = '1'.

Really need some help here...

My Admin Menu option has disappeared from my User Menu when I am logged in. I've checked the databases manually and everything appears to be in order. The only thing I did was remove all user signatures and add "flat" to umode in the user database.

Need some desperate help here!!!

1) I'll have to do it next time I get an email and delete it.

2) It uses the < {xoops_banner} > smarty code, how can I control the relative or absolute paths?
