Hi,

I'm trying to get Koivi to be used as the default editor for Xoops, for things like block text, and various other modules.

It it already used in the News module I'm using and I would like it to be used instead of the standard DHTML XOOPS Editor.

I've read that if you`re running XOOPS 2.0.15 or higher - I'm using 2.0.16 - you can edit the file /class/xoopsform/formdhtmltexteditor.php and change the line

var $htmlEditor = array();

However, I've looked at the files in the /xoopsform/ directory and formdhtmltexteditor.php is not there!

Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of this file, and also how to 'simply' make Koivi the default editor for blocks.. and modules if possible.

Or if anyone knows how to get any more advanced editors working as the default for Xoops, I'd be glad of some instruction.

Cheers,

Tracy

Xpress 2.0.5 - Blank page in Xoops Panel

Hi,
I've just loaded the Xpress 2.01 module for XOOPS v2 and installed via the module panel in Xoops. Wordpress is appearing in the main menu but it's a blank page without any XOOPS content when you click on it.

Also getting blank pages when you click on the Wordpress button in the modules section of Xoops, the pop up menu appears when you hover over it, but when you click anything it just shows all the XOOPS control panel but with a blank page where the the settings for the Xpress module should be.

Can anyone help?

I'm under a tight deadline to get this site up and running within the week, and I've already come upon the first hurdle.

Any help gratefully received.

Cheers,

Tracy

Well, my name does start with a T but I wasn't expecting to go into the cloning business....!

I've just installed XOOPS via the Addon Script section of cPanel, but I get the following error when I try to enter it athttp://freelancealot.co.uk/xoops/

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_CLONE, expecting T_STRING in /home/user/public_html/xoops/kernel/object.php on line 528

Can anyone tell me what this is, what it means, and what I (or my friendly host support team) can do to fix it?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Cheers,

Tracy

Fatal error: Smarty::_get_plugin_filepath()

Hi,

Have just done my first installation of Xoops. The installation 'wizard' went like clockwork. I originally got a blank page, but fixed it so that I could see the error warnings.

I'm now getting a Fatal error warning as follows:
Fatal error: Smarty::_get_plugin_filepath() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/freelanc/public_html/xoops/class/smarty/core/core.assemble_plugin_filepath.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/freelanc/public_html/xoops/class/smarty/Smarty.class.php on line 1359

I've searched the Support Forum and checked what other people did, but that hasn't seemed to work. All the relevant directories are CHMOD 777.

The site is at www.xoops.freelancealot.co.uk which I set up as subdomain, could this be causing a problem?

Any ideas, please?!

Cheers,

Tracy
