You haven't been here in a while have you?

Hmm, where to begin...
It started with... no, that's not working...

Uhm... you see... Xoops... people... leaving...
Darn that will take some time this way...

Easiest way to say this: yep, module rep's are closed; new system release date: please will YOU pick a date?

Better find a good doc for that itch, 'cause it will itch for a long time to come I guess...

can you post the code you'd like to ad?

Quote:
"PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected ':' in E:\Inet\wwwroot\small_business\class\xoopsblock.php(146) : eval()'d code on line 1 PHP Parse error: parse error, unexpected '<' in E:\Inet\wwwroot\small_business\class\xoopsblock.php(146) : eval()'d code on line 1""

the '<' error looks to me there's still a '<' in line 1 (but I'm no PHP coder and do not pretend to be so ;) !)
If this doesn't work pls post the code and I'll have a look.

BTW: you're hosting the website on your local machine?

Very easy solution!

delete those 2 lines:
<?php (at the start of your script)
?> (at the end of the script)

Post the module as PHP.

Xoops put those 2 lines in itself so there would by twice the same command... and that just doesn't work

I've had several problems using this module, I uninstalled it and have a happier life now

Not really a solution, but like Dona_Brasil said: better use AM Events.

Solved the problem

I had a javascript in it to refresh the page every minute, took that out and it's working fine now. I'm no coder but should have tried that earlier.

Thx 4 the help ppl

Shhhht I'm not telling you this!

I wouldn't use XOOPS for it, there's a CMS I would use called Zen-Cart (http://www.zen-cart.com/). Not bashing Xoops, but Zen-Cart would be the best solution for you, it has a very high learning curve, I agree, but it has everything you want and even much more!

I believe there's a Zen module for XOOPS somewhere.

Like I said: nothing bad about Xoops!

I've got some PHP which I want to put in a block, problem is it won't show. Yes I've been playing with the settings (HTML, PHP, Auto Format).

I got it running atm in an I-frame, but that's not what I want. Even made a custom module for it (https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=280), that works, problem is it's a new page > not what I want. Tiny Content... same thing, it works but again it's a new page.

So, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or how to create a block with thehttps://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=280?

Using X2.0.16
