mainfile.php secure?

xoops root's mainfile.php hardcoded DB username & password for DB connection, but it is disclosing sensitive info.!

Only OS's file-system access right (e.g. chmod) to keep this file safe for outsider, is it really safe?!

Any security comments/suggestions about this?

Any alternatives?

you mean myalbum-p and pical's template set?
I dunno where/which line of which template within the module casing the problems, how can I check it?

I tried moving all right column block to left.
I tried disable all right column block.
The problems still exist for both cases!

The problems appears whenever either myalbum-p or pical module was enabled no matter where their block located.

Apart from the grey-color-border extended, I discover the whole MS-weather block's width was extended too much (when I try moving it from right->left)

any more suggestions?

The problem appears to be in the template set for the modules. This is an issue I've run into countless times. You'll need to clone your template set and edit the modules' templates that are causing the problem. Alternately, you could just disable the right columns on the affected pages.

Hope this helps.

Originally using XOOPS 2.0.7.3 with module myAlbum-p 2.70 and piCal 0.50, the module/block displayed very well.

After modules upgrade (myAlbum-p2.70->2.84), (piCal0.50->0.72), the layout problems raised:
- table cell's spacing was extended (both horizontal & vertical)
- the content of each block was expended to right-side
- the block's edge line was cutted
- the block's content was cutted (on the right-side)
- diff. block was overlapped
- the border color of MS-weather content was extended and filledup the whole cell color

When I tried to disabled either module, the problems still exist. However, if I disable both module, the problem solved.

Anyone knows what's wrong with the modules?
How to solve it?

unexpected characters displayed when user switch language to schinese or tchinese or english...
i.e.
user selected schinese: can see only those GB-stored chinese-data correctly
user selected tchinese: can see only those BIG5-stored chinese-data correctly

how to solve?

and what is the usage of "weight" in xlanguage?

xoops.org.cn is cool, exactly what i want!
thanks for advice, i got the ideas, will try it soon...

Where can I download XOOPS utf8 chinese pack?

Which charset for xoops.org.cn's data stored in DB, will it depends on user's language selection on-fly?

Must I install 'xconv' too?
