the // means that the line is a remark (the command after the // will be considered as a remark).

just drop the // if you want to make that codes to be active.

i think the reason is hsalazar the author of the module has not implement that feature in version 1.0. not sure how hard will it be to hack/implement that capability in ver 1..

any particular reason why you don't like the newer version?

seems that a new team of module repository administrator has been established in the last one month. they are the one who will try their best to keep the repository updated.

what i always do is accessing the author's website (specified in the download page) to find out whether the author has got an updated version or not.

btw, i would like to use this opportunitiy to also thanks the repository team for having it reorganized (nice!) and updated. thanks. can you guys also put gijoe's works (peak.ne.jp/xoops) in the repository? gijoe's got must-have modules for xoopsters!

again, really glad to see around, catz..

one of the most satistying thing for me since joining/using XOOPS for my website (10-11 months ago) is the opportunity to meet great people with great heart.

bender and liquid are two of great people i meet from wf-projects. kinda sad to see there is no much activity anymore there lately. tried my best to help out here and there... limited knowledge and skill...

btw, imho what's required by XOOPS is a woman in core team.. to share some love.. and forgiveness...

i don't have any experiences with custom template yet myself. so far, what i have done is changing the template php files themselves in my test environment and got it uploaded to my production machine and got the module updated.

others please correct me if i'm wrong.

for every changes we made in the application (php file), make sure to update the module (might not neccessary if what we change is the includes file? but hey, just update the module).

for the template, clear the template buffer files, and regenerate the template. it should pick the latest template.

what version of wf-sections are you using?

1. i need to look at the code further whether this can be done through the option setting. however you should be able to edit the block template (wfsections\templates\blocks\wfs_block_new.php) and delete the following lines:

<table width="99%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2">
<{foreach item=wfs from=$block.new}>
...
<tr>
<td>
<{if $wfs.image}>
<div style="text-align: center;"><img src="<{$wfs.image}>" align="left" hspace= "5" vspace= "0" alt="" style="border: 1px solid black"></div>
<{/if}>

<{if $wfs.summary}>
<div style="padding-left:10px"><{$wfs.summary}></div>
<{/if}>
</td>
</tr>
<{/foreach}>
</table>

2. to set the weight, if you are using the 2.0.7 version, go to the Weight Management menu and set the weight there. your section should be displayed correctly.

reading your post hsalazar really make my heart really warm, encouraged, and feel at home.

i just want to say (again) i really appreciate all the hard and great works you have given to us core team. and express my appreciation to all the module developers too for all the great modules and supports you have given (you guys make me able to build my astonishing website without any single coding ).

there are areas where we can improve of course. if we can put away our differences and try to work together as a team, we will make a great result.
