I tried that you say, but the problem continues. I update the section's image field with the phisical name asigned by XOOPS in the upload/ folder, but nothing appears at all. I delete cache and the same situation.

Any other suggestion?

I can't see the images assigned to a Sections module

Hi.

I upload two images to my server. I assigned it to two sections, but when I enter in sections menu option, I obtain the title of each section, but not its image.

When I assign the image to section, I entered the name with I add the image to image data base, but in the upload folder, the image is stored with a diferent name.

1. Is normal that diferent name?
2. It is correct to input the name in the images database on the section's image name?.

I'm an absolute beginner and I'd made a beginners mistake: I forgot to upload spanish folder to system module.

Thanks for your quick answer Rowd.

It solves my problem in part (translating module names).

The problems I have are, for example, in the User menu, the option "Administration menu" should read something like "Administración".

I think that I need to upload some files to my remote site as when I'd installed XOOPS 2.0.9 spanish locally, I did no need to translate anything. The question is What files need I to upload to remote server?.

Hi, all.

I have a problem with spanish language. I've a local instalation of XOOPS 2.0.9 with Apache 2 and MySQL 4.1. I have spanish languaje installed and it works fine.

I buy a hosting to install and test a XOOPS site.

How can I install spanish language support?. I'd copied language/spanish folder from my local PC to language/ folder on the site, but some messages and main menu were not translated.

I readed all the forum and used the search option, but I was not able to find anything.

Can someone help me?

I tested XSAS and work fine, but...

If I want to build my own site, must I do it from the XSAS one?, or can I do it from the totally (blank) one -from zero?.

In this case, How can I do it. I didn't saw a "New Site" like option.

Is there some kind of wizard to build a new site?

Hi.
I'm an absolute beginner in xoops, and Apache, not in SQL but in MySQL (well I alredy know the fundamentals).

I'd installed the Abria Soft Melin Pack: Apache 1.3.14 (not 2.x), php 4.0.4, and MySQL 3.23. All seems to work properly.

I'd installed XOOPS 2.06 (unzip) into a c:\Archivos de programa\xoops folder

I'd copy the html folder from XOOPS directory to my htdocs directory.

I'd follow the XOOPS wizard instructions (all the items was green coloured).

When I click to enter my first site, I obtained only a blank page.

¿What is the problem?.¿How can I solve it?.
