I mean can i show "{$xoops_banner}" outside of xoops. XOOPS is still in control of it and such, I just want to beable to display it in a non-xoops part of my site.

Here is a question, and I remembered to search if anyone else tried it but didin't find it, can I use XOOPS adds outside of xoops?

I am hosting a site for someone that is very popular among the community my site is in and so I am wanting to add a footer via the server admin interface, anyway what code do I need to get my XOOPS adds and display them? Can I simply import the common.php?

I was thinking about getting rid of the banner from my theme and just putting it in a block so I could move it around whenever i wanted. However when i tried to put the code

{$xoops_banner}

the banner didn't show up. I tried every format, php, etc. I also tried the example in the blocks section for your site url but it doesn't work. How do you get this to work in a block?

When Xoops site is closed is it not looking at main.php?

Ok well I will elaborate a little more. I first ran into this problem in 2.01 and uninstalled reinstalled but then relaized there was a new one so I installed that yet I still get the problem.

I think it is where the form is posting, but I don't quite know where in the code that is.

I was thinking on line 166 of admin/category.php
$butt_save->setExtra( 'onclick="this.form.elements.op.value='save'"' );


is that right? and if it could I jsut hard code it? I would except I am not sure what that "...vale=save..." is doing...

OK I am geting ready to launch a site and so I have been worknig on my own modules but I am done with them (for now) and so wanted to laod content. I loaded Wf-sections but when i go to teh section management page adn create a section and click "Save Changes" it posts back to the category.php (which probably makes since) only thing is it forgets the root url so the browser trys to go to

/modules/newbb/newtopic.php?forum=28


and not

{root directory}/modules/wfsection/admin/category.php


anyone else have this problem? if not how do I fix it.

there is a zip file error. I think it just needs rezipped. SOmeone sent me one and the zipfile works so i am sure it will work. The one on the main site though is corrupted.

I went to go download this nify downloading agent from wf-projects.com but when I did it was currupted. I tried a couple more times but the zip must be corrupted on the server side even before i download it. I then clicked contact but apparently it does not give anonymous users access so...

Anyway anyone have the module they could send me?

thanks. That got rid of the error but nothnig showed up. I figured out how not to use the template though for admin, it still looks good though(some of the official modules don't use templetes for admin). I got my model finished. It is a quote module where it chooses a random quote in the database and displays it and who submitted it. It also allows users that are logged in to submit a quote. Then the admin goes to the admin panel and can edit/approve/delete the post.
