Hello :).

From what I've learned, you have to put:
Category:Category name

at the end of a page to add a category.

Ok.

I wasn't sure what to do, but I eventually found it.

I don't why just the title was buggy, but I changed the encoding to utf-8 and now, it's displaying correctly. :)

Hello.

About japanese characters, I must say that everything except the title are showed correctly on the page.

I can also see japanese characters in the status bar.

So, I'm wondering why they don't show up just for the title ^^... Any idea is welcome ^^.

Hello.

First, I've to thank the people who did this module, it's great ^^.

I've encounter a problem while I wanted to give a category a japanese name (with japanese characters sure ^^).

Instead of the name in japanese, I've "???" (for example 日本語).

If I search for it by typing in japanese, I'll find it.

So, I'd like to know to do to have the title displayed correctly while it's in japanese.
(for example, as this page in wikipedia:http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:%E7%89%B9%E6%AE%8A%E8%A8%98%E5%8F%B7

Thanks in advance for your reply :)

Nevermind. I found it. It was actually a database problem.
As I add problem with updates a few days ago, I add to change the database name for XOOPS but I didn't do it for the forums!...

Hello ^_^.

Since I've upgraded both XOOPS and ipb board module, the "recent topics" which is on the top page is like frozen. This mean, the recent topics listed is the one before I upgraded, no, it won't move anymore.

[Note: I know there is a support forum for this module, but as there are more people coming here, maybe someone will be able to help me ^^].

Thanks in advance!

:)

Thanks for your reply ^_^.

I must say I searched through the menu from up to down, and didn't notice that before... I'll try it later again, and make my custom blocks.

I have to uninstall XOOPS 2.2 cause it seems to have problems with ipb board module (as when I upload ipb, I have a blank page...).

[Well, I hope my backup will work fine ^_^.]

Hello.

I've finally upgraded to version 2.2 of xoops... And I'm a little bit lost, haha...

I've search everywhere to create a new block, but I can't find it... Could you help me?

When I click on "add" on the block page, it edits an existing block and not creating a new one.

Also, when I go to the "admin page", I just have the menu on top of the page, but nothing written below it, is it normal?...

Thanks in advance for your reply!!

Thank you :).

I think I'll try to make each update and see what will happen. This will just take some times ^_^. I just hope it won't affect the forums ^^.

Hello everyone ^_^.

For a long time, I wasn't able to update my website and now that I have some times, I'd like to upgrade my version of XOOPS which is 2.07.

I'd like to know if I've to do every intermediate updates? (2.0.7->2.092 then 2.0.9.2->2.0.1.0, etc...).

Also, I'm using the invasion forum module made by bbpixel (an old version too ^^), do you think it'll still work with newer XOOPS version?

Thanks in advance for your reply :).
