I like that idea .. fill me in on the result.

Oh just out of question is there like a classified module available and does it have an option to charge for listing fee.? another nice module if developed in the future would be an action module im currently working on making one from a auction script ive downloaded... if i can translate it into XOOPS ill put it here on the site for download. Mind you i might have a few html questions in my development.

Kindest Regards
Nathan

Following on from my last post, do you think this module will ever include e-commerce through Paypal and nochex, so site owners can charge for better listings, or more user fields, like only allow phone fields to paying members, ect.

I think this would be a good thing for this mod and add more E-commerce options to xoops.

This is one area where I would think that the ability for users to choose and keep their own theme was a benefit.

Accesibility could be tailored directly to the users needs.

Be there needs as in the above post, or if users are using different browsers, or say some prefer a "light" look or a "more featured" look. Flash or non-flash, different screen resoloutions and so on,

Shame imo no longer available as it does offer many more options to xoops. And opens more doors to users to use the site.

Running XOOPS 2.0.3. In admin -> edit user I could not delete a user's website url no matter how many times I tried. Can anyone confirm this?

Err, how do I say it...

Not all my Moderators are computer savvy, so I like to keep their interfaces as simple as possible. I completely trust my Moderators, but they could get overwhelmed with the Administration menu followed by all the options for Forum Admin; I don't want them to go through all there and end up deleting the entire forum when they are trying to lock a thread.

Maybe that better explains it.

Another reasons is that I was foolish once and one of my Moderators became upset and started to delete forums like crazy; I don't trust people nearly as much as I used to, so you'll have to forgive me for not granting them sitewide admin privs to the forums.

whats the point of having a moderator if you cant trust them with admin capabilitys ? im a sysop op cm _ for msn chat rooms and i give my host admin capabiltys over the whole chat room and the participants... even people of my own status have admin capabilitys .. i mean if you have a moderator you should pick the correct person in the first place someone with lots of posts and possibly someone you know.

In your plan, however, the Moderators have complete NewBB admin privs, which means they can add and delete forums. I really don't want to give that power out to all my moderators, so my template edit works much better for me
