Doesn't work on my system, either, and I've got everything set exactly as was described.

I'm thinking now this may be a "re-direct" issue...
would that possibly be something to look at?!

OK this seems useless, does it only work if the user does not log off?

It does not seem to be working. Are either of these hacks compatable with globals off. How com audrey's hack doesn't have a redirect and uses a change in kernal? What about the WHO's Onloine Block?

-Whew!- just wanted to get that all out before I lost track of what I was thinking

This promising feature does not seem to work...

Regarding the customizable user page... while I think this would be nice for some sites, I don't think it belongs in the core. e.g. A corporate site that uses XOOPS probably has no desire to let users have their own homepages and is mainly interested in posting their own content for their customers. To me, the current homepage is useful enough as is for looking up contact info and searching for old posts (when you remember the author but not the thread title). As was suggested, I think a module would be the way to go for this. I don't know if such a thing exists, but perhaps you could use a wiki module in the meantime to provide customizable user homepages.

Hate to say other wise, but that aint modulised, that is coppermine on it's own, if it where a module, you would see in the url modules/module-name.

http://www.callbusy.idv.sh/xoops2/coppermine/index.php

The XOOPS site is:

http://www.callbusy.idv.sh/xoops2/modules/news/

Shame I would like to see coppermine modulised too, but there are about 6 or 7 gallery mods now.
