you have the function : function formatTimestamp($time, $format="l", $timeoffset="") in the /include/function.php

So you can modify the display

I got to thinking about OsCommerce and XOOPS and it struck me that in a lot of cases that would be overkill for a lot of sites that may only want to sell the odd piece of merchandise (t shirts, coffee cups) to members or even a paid subscription to a site.

What would be involved in developing a one page order module with say just a few items?

I'm using the version 2.0.4, however, when I opened System admin -> blocks. I don't know how to add system module.

I read a thread here that I may need to include/searchform.php in order to activate the advanced search feature. But, when I added <?php require "include/searchform.php" ?>, my added title is added to top screen but no content. Eventhough I add <?php echo "hello" ?> in the textarea of block, nothing was changed.

I noticed that there is a "system" in module column for system block like user menu, login and main menu. Could you give me more hints to activate the advanced search?

I am looking for a way to change the way the Date and Time is displayed.

Something like: month/day/year hour/mins (12 hour clock)

Javascript in Section Articles?

I have recently been handed the administration duties for our company website and I'm learning as I go here so bear with me :)

I am redesigning the site so that rather than being presented with a list of articles for a section it will go to a more aesthetic look etc.

What I am trying to do is have a content page with images that can be clicked on to open a new window with the picture. I can get it to open a new window with the image but I found some javascript that will autoclose the window and reopen/resize for the images as they are clicked.

It works fine in a block but I can't seem to figure out if it is possible to do in the article itself.

Am I able to put javascript into an article or do I have to go another way?

Have you tried turning on the MySQL debug?

Thanks heaps for you help Olorin

I tried entering the code you posted into the theme.html file of the theme I am using (phpkaox), but nothing is printed to the screen (I placed it at the very bottom just before the </body> tag) . I also tried putting the code into the footer (as this is where I was wanting it anyway), and all it seems to do was print the entire code to screen. I tried making an adaption to suit my needs;

Quote:
This page loaded in <? php global $ftime; echo $ftime; ?> seconds

This prints correctly at in the footer, except the actual load time is absent as when I replace $ftime with text such as hello, the text is displayed, so I assume I'm missing something to get the $ftime value to print.

I also made the other code changes you specified. One thing I was wondering is what kicks off the time log? Would I have to include something like

Quote:
$xoopsLogger->startTime();

in the header.php to start the time logging process?

Thanks again
