I've got a problem with my forum layouts.

When posting into the forum all goes well, I've made sure the forum doesn't go further than 350 width,,exept,,when you insert code into the post (BB code [code]) all hell breaks loose:). It then completely ignors the width. Tried to adjust the width of the .comText and .xoopsCode tags in the css file but it still ignors the width??

See my problem here.

Help!!!

thnx

Tjnemez

I've already edited that part, but what I wanted is to edit the form (for instance the message icons, url, mail, img, img manager). And I found what I was looking for.
It seems to be defined in the formdhtmltextarea.php. Works great now

Does XOOPS indeed have plans to make templates of these forms? Wouldn't it be better to make one seperate module for handling all of the forms, so you can adjust it the way you like.(like stripping down useless things like smillies or subject icons etc )

btw again thanX for the quick respond

Pure the layout, It's now divided by two coloms I would like to make a single one. This because the width of the <$xoops_contents}> variable is only 340px.

I've already tried to make the form classes a bit smaller in the style sheet, but they don't look good to me that way

I didn't find any template with the definition of the forms.

Thanx (again)
(btw, you sure are fast )

Is there a way to edit the XOOPS forms layout? (user reg, forum post, comment post etc) I don't seem to get the hang of that.

ThanX

Nice header, very daring. I like when people play with spaces, the hell with standard webdesign rules. Be free, like this theme...

Chapeau!!!!!

Since you're hosting at home it would be easy to just install phpmyadmin to a directory where you can reach it with your webbrowser (or the same directory where you installed xoops)

Download it here: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/

unpack the package and edit in the config.inc.php the follwing lines:

$cfg['Servers'][$i]['host']          = 'localhost'; (server location)
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['user']          = 'root'; (database username)
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['password']      = ''; (user password)
$cfg['Servers'][$i]['only_db']       = ''; (database name,leave blank like this to let phpmyadmin show you all the databases you have)

It's really the easy way if you don't know how to handle your MySQL via the shell.
