If you look at the article you'll see that it's been published today and I'm just waking up: that's the reason why a patch hasn't been released yet...

Also, this site is not vulnerable to this problem. The sample in the security advisory is just informative. Entering an url manually like this would just allow you to hijack your own account, so you can make people believe you are yourself (pretty deep sentence, isn't it )

This is considered a security problem, as people are allowed to add links to the mylinks section.
However, here:
- The auto-approve option is set to off. So any such link would be deleted by an admin before it is published
- We don't use the frame feature either

So if you feel concerned about this issue, turn one of those 2 options off until I can get a coffee, I'll be working on it after

Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Sunsnaper! This is because the PHP file has wrong permissions. You probably set 755 to the folder where the PHP files are located, but you did not set 755 to the files. You must select all PHP files and change their permissions, not the folders.

PHP files are giving this error ONLY when permissions are wrong.

no problem... if you dont have a shell account, try "FlashFXP" to change all php files to CHMOD 755 (in the same time, recursive)...

I downloaded from many diferent sources. The problem occurs always on the same position. When unpacking it stops in the middle.

I will send this file again, in another format (maybe 7zip, the best in compression)...

thanks for the feedback

The unpacked folder contains about 130 subfolders and is 53.7MB big (unpacked).

Any idea what that show stopper is ??

PSEUDO-CRON IN SYSTEM ADMIN: The only thing that's certain to happen quite regularly on a web page are page requests. This is where pseudo-cron comes into play: With every page request it checks if any cron jobs should have been run since the previous request. If there are, they are run and logged. pseudo-cron uses a syntax very much like the Unix cron's one. All job definitions are made in a text file on the server with a user-definable name (usually crontab.txt).

Next steps:

- upload all +200 modules separately to sourceforge...
- categorization in my computer...
- send the sql file to sunsnapper (hi, sunsnapper! nice to meet you )
- wait for feedback
- fix the inevitable problems (theory of the chaos, murphy's laws , nobody is perfect, etc. hehehe)

COMMENTS, PLEASE!!!!!!!
