thanks for that,

I have got php stats working, i think, and I installed the two hacks as i am running 1.8 (maybe against advice...but I can't help myself), however the counter still says one, even though the stats say loads more, can anyone tell me why...maybe I'll just take the counter off.

My problem was that bbedit was not saving the changes i made for some reason, and it still had the italian web address instead of mine.

I think I got a bit over excited at the thought of all those stats.

I am new to xoops, though I have used other boards/portals before...XMB and Invision mainly.

I am a bit confused over this php-stats, install, as when I install it:

1. it still shows the italian website in the javscript, even though config.php is altered

2. I am using 1.8 and my stats dir is installed at the root level of xoops, BUT XOOPS is in installed in XOOPS subdir of the web root.
3. I wish there was an install explanation for php-stats in english
4. The hack above does it work for XOOPS in a sub dir or does it need altering?
5 What is/Where is "pscounter"

I have installed php-stats but can't get it to work, I have left something out or not replaced an URLK somewhere as it returns to an ITalian site with a 4040 error when I clcik to get my stats??

I think I am a slow learner, but am understanding what it must be like for those who don't speak english when everything is always in English....installing XOOPS and then finding most of the themes, hack and modules are in Italian, French Japanese and Korean sites has been an education.

--just to say all sorted now, thanks

I have the same problem, i have tried everything, including the <br />. Each time i make an alteration I have to uninstall the weblog and reinstall it to see a result.

And I still cannot get decent spacing.

Why doesn't the line/spacer at the beginning of an entry repeat itself?

Why does the next date and category etc come on the next line after 'read' without a line/space.

The look of my blog is important, I don't understand why the <br /> doesn't work never mind altering the code to make it look pleasant!! Heeelp, this is a good module, what am I doing wrong?
