Hi all
Quote:
The idea is to use TDMDowloads for compatible modules since xoops 2.5.8, we keep the old module for the rest.

Yes, I'm the same opinion.

And downloads (especially modules) should have following additional info:
- link to demo
- link to github
- link to tutorial

hi all

I have problems with access to my uploaded pics in directory ../uploads/images/

in uploads and images directory there is a htaccess file with folloowing content
# secure directory by disabling script execution
AddHandler cgi-script .php .pl .py .jsp .asp .htm .shtml .sh .cgi .php5 .php4 .php3 .phps
Options
-ExecCGI -Indexes

these htaccess files are created with default installation of xoops.

How can I solve this?
- delete the htaccess files? (Quick solution, but secure?)
- Do I need addtional settings on my server?

Hi

I have simular problem with a cronjob in one of my modules, which produces a lot of small files with only a few bytes.
And if I have to much files, it is also a problem to delete them via filezilla.

Did you already try to get access to the folder via your hoster software (e.g. Plesk or Confixx file manager) and to delete all files from there at once?

if it works and then files appear again (maybe every hour a new one) then check for cronjobs

Hi to all Gitbook creators

If I look on our tutorials on Gitbook, I see on the first page of a tutorial
- the module name
- sometimes the module version
- the needed xoops version
- basic information
- table of content

but I see nowhere an information about the version of the tutorial himself. If I have downloaded a pdf and come back to this tutorial half a year later, I have to check site by site to see, whether something has changed or not.

IMO on first site should also be always: Quote:

Module Version x.x
Supported Xoops Versions
Tutorial Version x.x, last modified xx.xx.xxxx
Maybe: Supported PHP-Versions

hi
try following:
add in your themes/xbootstrap/style.css this code:
.navbar-nav>li>a{

padding-top:15px !important;

padding-bottom:15px !important;

line-height:40px !important;
}

not problem, and I like it, because I like structured folders.

but then we should adopt xoops core

Hi timgno

thats strange

1) I downloaded and installed last versionhttps://github.com/txmodxoops/tdmcreate-1.91
2) i created a module named testmodules1
3) I created a table named testtables1
4) I built the module

if I go now to ...\uploads\tdmcreate\repository\testmodules1\templates I see
- folder 'admin'
- file index.html
- file testmodules1_breadcrumbs.tpl
- file testmodules1_footer.tpl
....

Hi

Xoops 2.5.9 Beta 1
TDMCreate 1.91 Alpha 3.4

following problem:
tdmcreate for a module in folder templates
- the subfolder 'admin' (for admin templates)
- the subfolder 'block' (for block templates)
- all user templates

if you create with System->Template Manager (...modules/system/admin.php?fct=tplsets) a new template set in your theme, you have only
- the subfolder 'block' (for block templates)
all user templates

the subfolder 'admin' (for admin templates) is missing

what should be changed? tdmcreate or System->Template Manager?

I suggest to change Template Manager
