Sending data to custom script in TinyContent

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me... I've set up a TinyContent page to get some data from my users- they make selections and then hit the submit button. I've then set up a second TinyContent page, this one in PHP, to get and process the data.

My problem is, I'm not sure the data is being sent. I can't get it to display with print() a print statement. I've tried both GET and POST methods for the original form, and I can see the value passed along the URL when I use GET. But still, the page cannot seem to recognize it.

I know that TinyContent works by calling index.php using an id variable in order to display the page to be accessed. I've passed this along fine, but I don't think that my user data is getting passed to the script I've set up- I think it's stopping and TC's index.php, and not actually getting processed by my script.

Has anyone done this before, or had trouble with it? Am I right in guessing how TinyContent works, and if so how do I handle this? Any help would be appreciated!

saxparser is onhttp://www.myxoopsforge.de/dl/saxparser.zip

but i've installed this older version of saxparser and i see the same problem with the encoding as the swedish and polish users (i'm czech). rss feeds doesn't convert from specified encoding to default encoding on my site (UTF-8->iso8859-2, windows-1250->iso8859-2).

i've read many posts about this on xoops.org, but i've didn't found anyone, who have solve it yet. does anybody know, how to make this module finally working well with non-english languages?

I use multisite on the sites below, works very well.

Right now I share the Users, Forum and Smartfaq only. All the rest of the modules are independent from site to site.

Cheers

Re: PHP 5.0.2 Support Yet?

We do not have confirmation on PHP5 compatibility - we've made some attempts in a test version of XOOPS, but lack reliable feedback on what makes PHP5 choke on XOOPS and how these chokings can be remedied.

At first, we know that there are some methods which work differently as well as e.g. the clone() method on XoopsObject makes PHP5 choke because clone() is a new native method on all classes in PHP5.

If you want to help out, you can get this very experimental XOOPS 2.0.8 (beta) and give us feedback on that one - just remember to explicitly state that it is this experimental version you are using when giving feedback.

Vict0r

This question is one of the most asked questions of XOOPS users, most of them get the same reply.

Use the SEARCH feature (Top Right Corner of the site) and you will find all sorts of answers.

One quick search and I found;
