I am wondering, is this fixed in XOOPS 2.0.7.3??

I mean, does gzip compression works allright in this version of xoops?

It would seem not as i get this warning "Warning [PHP]: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used after 'URL-Rewriter' in file include/cp_functions.php line 33"
but what do i know..

And i use kenogui's mod rewrite hack.

I just removed the modrewrite hack (by Kenogui) to see if that coula have anything to do with this, but it doesn't, the problem is here nonetheless..

Anyone?

Putting module for start page above 2 blocks for center(r-l)

Okie...First of all, please take a look at my site www.traffic-cafe.com!
As you can see, my 2 blocks(New images and Top Links) are located above my module(news) for my start page.
What I want is to place my 2blocks(New images and Top Links) under my module(news) for my start page.
What I have tried so far is,I tried with weight system by putting 1-100. But, it didn't work out.
I tried to look for a solution in this forums..But, after reading for 1 hr, I still couldn't find yet.

Please help me with it.

News module removing back slashes

I have a question about removing backslashes from News postings. I typed some quotation marks in a news item I posted (News Mod 1.21) and it added "\" whereever there were " or ' marks. Why does this happen? I manually edited them out

tried to change the file >> functions.php << like recommended, just to check out if it helps.

But it does not.

The request I recieved was from a user that uses an internetcafe in hungary, so technical explanation to her will not help.

Is there anything else that I can do to make it run? Beside of that I tried it with and without firewall, but I do not use Norton firewall. No change.

If there is something else that I can try I will be happy to hear from

I have a problem with a block of newBB2 (Recent Topics). the problem is when there are several pages in a Topic... has an error in the Link:

The one in article.php worked, but in index.php, this is the only line that seems close to what you said:
