Hi Zap_english

Quote:
I've downloaded your cookie policy and edited it with DHTML editor and with TinyMCE
And in both cases it shows on the website as

This sound strange, because for this the language var _MB_WGSITENOTICE_COOKIE_REG_INFO in language/english/blocks.php is use. Can You please check this var?

Quote:
will appear at the top of the website but will not appear at the bottom

tried again with current version on firefox and ie, and works. maybe you have to clean browser cache in order to delete the existing cookie.

Hi zap_english

Quote:
goffy, how can I get the cookie banner to appear at the bottom of the site like it does on your site?

please read tutorialhttps://ggoffy.gitbooks.io/wgsitenotice-tutorial/content/en/book/6blocks.html

Also, I have the preferences set to use the DHTML form but ...

Xoops offers by default 3 editors:
1) onlyText
This editor can be used for saving pure text
2) DHTML with xCode
An Editor with various Xoops-Tags
3) TinyMCE
Extended texteditor with a lot of options for formatting, lists, and so on.
The text will be save as HTML-Code in your database.

I have created all elements (imprint, cookie regulation descritption,...), you can download from my site, with TinyMCE, because I want to use all the possibilities for formatting text in html.
Attention: if you display text, which is created with TinyMCE, diplay later with e.g. the DHTML-Editor, you will see all the Html-Tags. Please use in this case again TinyMCE or remove all HTML-Tags.

I will add this information to tutorial.

kind regards
goffy

Hi

Quote:
I tried deletig the date from the timeline for the table tpl and couldn't get the heading to line up properly
The creation date of the timeline will not be shown on user side.
If you mean the date of an item (but not the creation date) than you can delete it when editing the item. You must not edit the tpl-file.

Is it possible to replace " wgTimelines" in the breadcrumb when looking at a timeline?

Please read tutorial (4.0 Operating Instructions) onhttps://www.gitbook.com/book/xoops/wgtimelines-tutorial/details or the pdf in wgtimelines/docs/

I can only find 1 bug so far, in "Items Block" if I click on an item I get a 404 page. Clicking on a timeline works fine.

Some things to consider for update:
1. Allow to select anonymous users to vote?
2 Add time to post? eg; not just the date.
3. Allow comments per item?

I fixed bug in item block.
Additonally I rebuilt pemission system, now you can allow also guest to vote.
Please download last version fromhttps://github.com/ggoffy/wgtimelines

Point 2 and 3 needs more adoptions/changes, if I have time I will check this.

Hi all

New year - and as a present a new module

The XOOPS module wgTimelines is a simple module for presentation of your timelines.
You can define various items for each timeline.

For displaying your timeline you can select between different templates, which have also various settings.
To your timelines you can add descriptions and/or a logos.

For each item you can besides the content an image. For the items you can also use a rating system.

Most of the templates on user side are fully responsive, but for proper displaying you must use a bootstrap theme obligatory. Depending on the template you can select various options like colors, border styles, badges and many more.
