I'm impressed for danish translations.
Yesterday evening i translated the module "classfield add" and there were very small errors.

It took about 1 hour to translate and correct the errors.

Lang_tool could have the ability, to fill out the "white box" from google's translator. If it not match, you can of course just overwrite

OK. At the moment they are installing Xoops2.2 with module "Private messaging" and "Extended profiles"

They are installing english language files, so they are interested in danish language packs and some standard modules.

Now I really need some help if some of You have experience.

Yesterday was my life easier.

Google has implementet Danish in their translations.

That sparre me for so much time translating modules. Of course the translation just has to been run through as the worst mistakes avoided.

In wordprees there are actually a module using google to translations.
http://onemansblog.com/2007/03/25/google-translate-wordpress-plugin/

Otherwise, there is this blog
http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2004/09/17/php-cli-and-google-translation/

Is there anyone who can take the ball here, and develop a module using google - or should we hope the developer of Lang_tool can / will build it?

Hi'

I just found a Danish host, that are installing XOOPS trough some kind of script.
I really don't see the idea, because a user, that choose this, ar not getting any modules and don't really know what to do.

I have contacted the provider to know what version, is it translated, need any guides etc.

Have any of you experience with some providers?

That could really help XOOPS in Denmark if I could get som collaboration going with the host

I better have to write something because Runeher is living in Denmark and I’m afraid he comes knocking on my door some late evening and XOOPS me

My nick is Anderssk, and real name is Anders Kristiansen. I’m from Denmark and work with IT-Security in a big Danish retail company.
I have been in the company since 1995 and work in many different departments. Mostly spending my time with user-support and documentation.
One day the security administrator on our mainframe left the company, and now I’m doing the job.
The biggest problem is my age – I’m only 35 years old and working with mainframes. That’s not normal!
I don’t know how many of you there know a mainframe, but normally a screen dump makes sense

It looks like an old system, but believe me. It’s rock!
At the moment we have 720 MIPS (million instructions per second)

I’m hope that we sometime next year will start up a project with IAM

Now, I’m a old Postnuke user, but needed something new. The usergroups and permissions in Postnike really miss some thing here.
I found out that I like XOOPS, but there were no Danish site.
The domain was taken, so I contacted the owner and he created the domain on his own server and I have full access.

My wife and me just bought a house, so when I not online, I properly doing something in the garden.

Done on Xoops.dk

I attach a dump of the settings I haved used after installing the module.

Now there are no justification for not doing it
After that I made the block "Recent Headlines" visibel for anonymous useres

I like the workflow from Greece - I uses WF-Download in Denmark and can add dev.xoops.org as mirror

You have a project at dev.xoops.org with greek translations, but I was thinking of a translations directory at this site

precise that is the problem.
If wee all have to post in a thread when we have translated some core or module it wil be the root of all evil.

Where to look - I think the place the useres dowload the core files, should contain the language-files for both modules and core?

Can wee use the download section on SF.NET
There are a category "XOOPS Core Translations" but not mutch in it.

Maybe it could be categorised and local support sites could get access?
I don't know if it is possibel to add access to some parts of the filedirectory?

XOOPS Core Translations
---> Language
----> Core
----> Modules

So far as I can see Drupal is closed for SVN.
Joomla has not a singel SVN for language. Some of the local support sites has it own SVN.

But we need to create something that serve XOOPS best
