Is this a stupid question? I just can't seem to figure out how the WF-Channel module is really supposed to work. Can someone give me a brief idea or a good example to look at? I know I probably need this on my site, but I can't seem to figure out how it will fit in. Any advice would be wonderful!

Thanks!

Herko - Thanks for answering. My kids have been pretty sick this last week so I couldn't get back to you right away.

I tried this late last night and it didn't work. I still got the "author" instead of submitted by. Is it possible there is some other place that should be changed?

I am using wfsections for articles on my website. These articles are generally posted by me, with permission from the authors. I don't think I'm going to have many submitted for publication. LOL

I would like to remove the "Author" reference on the article page. In the body of the article, it will have a byline for each author. I'd rather it say "Submitted by" or say nothing at all.

Can someone direct me to where I would find this in the module to change it? I tried removing the class=ItemPoster, but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

I feel like this is a stupid question - but how in the world do I uninstall a module that I was testing? I've done a search, but can't seem to find anything. Thanks!

Thanks for all the good information. Now I have another question.

I am duplicating the core news module and calling it news-vendors since it will be only about vendors and their news items. I have gone through all the files and modified them to reflect the new directory (called news-vendors) and also modified the MySQL installation file so that it will create the new files.

However, when I go to install the module, I get an error message that the module news has already been created. Am I missing something in an installation file somewhere?

Thanks!

Is there any way to duplicate a module and use it twice in a website? What would need to be changed? Or is this impossible to do?

Nope - I'm not including any of the body or head tags. Just regular html code.

I'm having a problem using HTML code in the newest WF-Channel release. First of all, I uploaded an HTML page to use instead of putting the copy in and nothing appeared.

I also put code into the page content using HTML - It doesn't recognize the HTML code. Any ideas?

Looks like a great module.
