Webphoto, annoying block

Hello
does anyone know how to get rid of that annoying "recent Photos" webphoto block?

In the Mainpage it does not appear.
In the block management area it is nowhere to be seen.
It appears only in the left-side block area after opening the webphoto link.
This Block is of no good use and I would like to have it out.

Does anyone know what to tune to get it out?

after disabling "Use pathinfo" it worked fine.

Strange that 1 site hosted by 3ix.org has no problems with that while the other site has problems.

I can only recommend not to go to 3ix for page hosting. Its nothing but trouble.

Hello,
I write this here because if I post it on the webphoto creator's site then it can take quite long to get an answer.

I have installed webphoto on one site and it works just fine.

I have installed it on another site and all links outside of the admin area dont work.

Example:
If I want to upload a new photo and go to admin...webphoto .....add/edit category....press add photo....
the link is...
mypage.com/portal/modules/webphoto/index.php?fct=submit&cat_id=5
that works fine

when I am in the webphoto module it want to go to the link:
mypage.com/portal/modules/webphoto/index.php/submit/
That doesnt work.

Does anyone know the reason why the same program should work on one site but not on another one?

Safari and IE7 should be a must for everyone making their own site.
I personally think:
I dont know anyone personally who uses safari, but many who use Firefox.
So, Safari is surely not a must.

For IE7: I think IE6 is more than enough. It works fine to enter FTP and up and download things. FF cant be used for that. For all the rest FF is probably the best browser, although sites like e.g. BBC.co.uk have IE specific pages that dont work on any other browser.

Talking about OSs:
today I found this in the newspaper:

They seem to be proud to offer a possible downgrade to WXP:
Resized Image

I don't believe you are still using an OS or software from the previous millenium,
Ghia_,
when I installed the OS on my computer two years ago, then I had a choice to put either my Windows XP Pro on it or my old W2000 Pro.
I decided against the WXP Pro because less people now even bother creating new viruses for that and everything runs well on W2000.

and then they use print screen or ...
tell me all about it.
Most people have just enough experience to click the right mouse button and press "save image as".

If its an image on flash, then printscreen is the oldest trick in town, but many just dont know that or they dont know what to do afterwards.
I even take SWF files apart and separate usable scripts, images and sound.
You can always do it all, but most normal surfers just dont know how.

Alan, thanks for the link.

You forgot a photo, audio and movie editor.

No, not really, because that would be very little realistic,
but since there is an HTML editor to change some of the XOOPSes HTML files why not have a CSS editor as well to make changing a theme easier?
CSS is a text just as HTML.

and the Logo changer would be no more than a list of selectable logos with an upload box for new logos that could be uploaded...just like the Avatar changer. That is also realistic.

OK, I found it under /zetagenesis/xotpl,
but I think for more user friendliness it might be better if those things would be defined in a CSS file.

AND

There should be an easy logo changer and a CSS editor inside the Admin Menu.
just some thoughts.

HI,
I currently just have overwritten the header logo by my own file.

I actually wanted to use a JPG file instead of PNG because IE always has PNG problems, but I cant find the CSS file (zetagenesis) where the header logo's file name is defined.
I did find the CSS where the bg_image is defined.

So, in which CSS is the header logo defined. I looked through all zetagenesis CSSs

Is there somewhere an easy logo changer?

Thanks,
I will have a look and see if I can find it.

I dont mind some bugs in the admin area, but in the public area it doesnt look so nice.

After a lot of struggle I found one capable person.
I think the main problem is that at 3ix there are too many different people trying to help and no one ever reads what has been said before.
Instead they always start asking things that have been asked before or recommending what has been recommended before.

After I told them exactly which links and which subdirectories were affected one of those 'Einsteins' even came that I should try to CHMOD my public_html to 755.
