Can't install 'profile' module.

After investigating I found that modules\profile\sql\mysql.sql file was having duplicate table creation script. And install was failing...

CREATE TABLE `profile_category` (
`catid` int(12) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
`cat_name` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
`cat_title` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
`cat_description` text NOT NULL,
`cat_weight` tinyint(4) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
`cat_moduleid` int(12) unsigned NOT NULL default '0',
PRIMARY KEY (`catid`)
) TYPE=MyISAM;

CREATE TABLE `profile_category` (
`fieldid` int(12) unsigned NOT NULL,
`catid` int(12) unsigned NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`fieldid`)
) TYPE=MyISAM;

I don't know how to tune the profile? Couldn't find anything in Admin Panel. Icon is not appearing in admin menu.

I installed Xoops-2.1.0 on non-default port (8080), I was unable to login. I was thrown tohttp://backup.thej2ee.com:8080/error.php?c=XOOPS_REFERER_BLOCKED

Didn't investigate more.

I got hold of Robo Demo (now called Macromedia Captivate v1.0). Pretty impressive, but perhaps Wink was also good enough for our purpose. I am not sure if get rights to distributing flash-movies made by demo trial version. So, perhaps we should use Wink

Do we have content ready? Site filled with demo-content? If yes, please PM me with the URL.

XOOPS Flash Presentations

I see these flash movies should be enough for now. This will surely give good idea of what XOOPS is offering to their user-base and how easy is to manage the site.

Core Xoops
1. Register and Login, Logoff
2. View, Edit Profile, Edit Avatar
3. Send / Read PM(s)

Core Modules
1. News Module (general use)
2. NewBB Module (general use)
3. Poll Module (general use)
4. Contact Us Module (general use)

Xoops Admin
1. Site Preferences
2. Block Position Demo
3. Custom Block Demo
4. Installing Module

Please suggest if something more is desired.

Has anyone thought of making some flash-demo for Xoops? If not, I'll volunteer for it.

Flash demo will give users a live feeling of Xoops.

Also thinking if it is possible to launch a real demo XOOPS site (running directly from CD). How can Apache+PHP/MySQL work with RAMDISK ?
