Clicking on the more in the online box brings up a popup window showing where they are and their ip address if you have that feature turned on and you are logged in as administrator.

Thanks, blue... but that's the issue...

logged in as admin..clicking more shows the IP of all Guests...but not where they are.

What 'feature turned on' are you referring to?

I am currently running 2.0.16; my 'Who's Online' shows a count of members and guests...just like this site does.

However, I have seen other XOOPS=based sites show members, guests...and what module the visitors are currently "in"...
like dev.xoops.org does.

Are there different flavors of the Who's Online block?
...or is this an option?

I would like to show (or, at least, like to know) where my visitors are going.

Thanks

Certainly know that no XOOPS module exists for this.....
...but I'll throw this out to see if anyone knows of one that we could wrap into Xoops.

I am working on a history project and would like to present an online Timeline for events that occurred over a 5-7 year period...many are in parallel, so a graphical timeline would convey the info perfectly.

I have scoured the script sites and can't find one that is history-oriented, most are for Project Management and I can't see an easy way to adapt.

Maybe those in education have seen a program like this?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You didn't do anything wrong.... as I understand it, all the old "included" modules were removed from the install.

You are correct in that you would only have a system module after a clean install.

You need to hunt down and get the modules that you want to use.

If this is a fresh, new site... I would wipe all clean and start over with XOOPS 2.0.16

It is my understanding that 2.2 is not a good choice.

What is the actual module you are using?

Also, looking at your site (nice work)...which 'sections' module are you using

Quest...naw, it is still screwed up.

The test files I linked above are a bit of a moving target, as I am trying all sorts of workarounds...

...now, they are scrunched all at the bottom.

I hope one of the gray-beards here can shed some light on the cause. It is common to just about any news or content or article module I try....

..you just can't get predictable results when you put an HTML table into the text.

The images in my earlier post are very representative of what happens....
...the table gets "bottom-justified" and ?something? is padding the HTML above it when it is rendered.

Thanks for following this saga.....

If you want to try to deactivate the Cafepress module...

In the database, browse xoops_modules..

setting the isactive for that module to zero will deactivate

More info...

The actual number of BR tags that appear between the first line of text and the table will vary based on the SIZE OF THE TABLE. (!)

The bigger the table...the more BR tags.

Could this be a Smarty-related thing?
(of which I know zero about)

Where is this top-bottom justification being generated?

Thanks
