Just want to update this issue , i have installed fresh 2.3.3 and i have no problem with legacy .
but i have also updated my existing site with fresh files from 2.3.3 but i cant use legacy with ie7 .. so i think the problem is some where within the database tables ..

It is not theme problem , i have replaced my theme with Defualt theme and still get the error '"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"
when i changed this file 'cp_functions.php
'modules/system/class/gui/legacy/cp_functions.php

with the same one from XOOPS 2.3.2 the legacy works Fine thats proof the problem is within the file cp_functions.php

Strange with Firefox i have no probelm with legacy in 2.3.3

Xoops 2.3.3RC
Php 5
Mysql 5
Browsewr : IE7
Theme Defualt
Modules installed :
Protector
debaser

Legacy Theme GUI Not working with Microsoft Explorer . i thought this will be fixed with the release of 2.3.3rc but i guess not ..

From protector setting go to

Modules out of DoS/Crawler checker

and write down the modules u dont want protector to check Crawler's on them . if only Yougrt just tyep the name of the module .

Usualy Gallery Modules that load Thumb Image fast considered high load cralwer so protector stops them .

Hello

when i was useing Nuke , there was a good opition to the Cpanel call 'Admin Messages' with this the admin can ad Ladt news in the center of the website . and the messages archived Auto .

the News Module with the hack of the last post Block Can do that , I know .. but this is not a module its just a block ..

i do have the same problem of load , even know i dont have forum , but i do have guest Book ..i have spider trap beside protector and i still get high load ..

just reading this thread , one said to make 403 error page with 0 byt well help reduce the load ? How so?

2- where did u move ur site .. what hosting you useing now i might consider moving to them tooo

You can Ban Her IP when she register m But your Problem is that there so many different ways to get around the ip issue , she can use proxy , or she might have dynamic IP address , which ip changes each time logs of or the modem reset .. the only way i see it each time she register you ban her ip from protector and from XOOPS Settings ..

if you banned her before and she came back that's mean she has a dynamic IP address.. and oh Boy she well Show up again if she wants until one of you gets tired.. Hope Not you

1- to solve the send email try , to use the same email as for the admin ..
»» go to admin »» preferences »» General Settings . Make sure the admin email is the same for the site webmaster.. so if u the admin and your email is x@x.com that listed in you profile than make it same to preferences »» General Settings
